how sweet of you to remember. and it's my wife's bday. (and doc- my daughter was born on 10/10...it's a conspiracy)

somebody was asking the other day why some people come here only to bitch about the place. i don't think it's actually that. many take digs at ff, but it's only because of the leaning of its owners and their followers (using the term lightly). they stand for the philosophy of ff and set the tone because they are the first and foremost posters.

but it is their actions that make ff a deeper experience than debate and that all can benefit from and end up a winner in the end. there is great tolerance here. some of you are total douches to people that don't fit the ff mold, but nobody is breaking it. people are allowed to continue putting the square peg in the round hold for as long as they want. i rarely hear calls for censorship of anything.

11:11, to me, is a symbol. as it is art to me, it means something deeper than what it actually is. i created a site around it and the philosophy was the symbols- that there are two sides to every story (II), good and bad(II), and it's all a balancing act( : ). the only real difference between my site and this one is that the owners of this one are more imbalanced. ha! but seriously...this site allows both sides to have their say, and although it walks toward a better future with a philosophical limp, it manages to keep on the trail. mine is just more balanced because it's the product of an addict- have/don't have.
