Professional responsibility? Really? In a law school? Are you sure you read that right?

It's my short game that let me down.
'Twas a joke Chuck. Lawyers, sharks, professional responsibility, lack thereof. Nevermind, I'll stick with the bunnythrust and Doc X jokes from now on.

Re: FF Student Lounge
New quarter started for me today. Digital Data Communication and the first part of a Multidisciplinary Senior Design course. The former is somewhat of a continuation of my summer class, and the latter will take a lot of time, but involves some real life projects and should be quite interesting. More details to follow, once I get them.

Moot Court was the scenario a former grad student colleague described as "clubbing baby seals."

Re: FF Student Lounge
I think my advisor just talked me into adding a mathematics minor to my computer science degree.

Re: FF Student Lounge
Depending on the school, a math minor may not be that difficult if you're already doing a CS major. I could have done a math minor without much effort, but I wanted a minor that was unrelated to my major (for whatever reason), so I chose political science instead.

Re: FF Student Lounge
I had an exam today on Cnidaria (sea anemones, corals, jellyfish, etc.), Platyhelminthes (flatworms and tapeworms), and Nematoda (roundworms). I was sitting in my car, envisioning total failure, dreading the moment when 8 a.m. would come, and toying with the thought of withdrawing from my class then and there.
On the lab section of the exam, I got 44/45, and I think I did equally well on the lecture/textbook section.

This place is apparently a popular site to get textbooks based on comments at school.

It's even more BS when the teachers write their own textbook and update it every year not only forcing students to buy a half asses textbook for too much but destroying any market for used books.
After reading through some of my girlfriend's prof written books it made me long for the crap of Mcgraw-hill.

Re: FF Student Lounge
I have that about once a quarter, Ari. Pisses me right off as they usually come with a CD of files and you can't return it once it's been opened.

Re: FF Student Lounge
lol I got 104/104 on my English midterm. It turns out my analytical aptitude lends itself to literary analysis as well. Imagine that. I still don't like it, though.
