Just two words, a bug in someone's ear if you will: Animated tattoo.
It should be a simple matter of programming, some kind of nano-technological ink or something. You should call it Smink, short for Smart Ink.

It's COLD! There's like that icy drizzly stuff coming down, like what do you call it? An antimacassar or a a Cornwallis or something.
I put on a sweater and socks, but I'm still COLD! I feel like Ray Milland!

Re: Miscellany
Have any of you guys tried WebMynd?
I'm trying to figure out if I think it's creepy, or if it's just that I'm afraid of change. (I sometimes get an uneasy feeling for a while after I change my wallpaper, so.)
Someone tell me what I think about this.

Re: Miscellany
So I just realized that a can of tomatoes we bought this weekend was puffy, so I called the store we got it from to let them know. The lady I talked to sounded all confused and she was like, "OK, we can give you your money back," so I was re-explaining that I wasn't worried about getting my money back but I just wanted to tell them in case they had a bad batch of canned tomatoes, and then she said, "Oh, wait. You said a CAN?"
She thought I was calling to complain that I had bought a tomato fruit and that it was too puffy for me or something.

Re: Miscellany
Was driving back from New York this weekend, when I passed a dead black bear on the side of the road. Seemed like it may have gotten hit, walked to the side of the road, and croaked.

We're totally going to get a bird. What's a good bird? Like one that makes pretty noises instead of obnoxious ones. Does that exist?

Re: Miscellany
It does make them a bit loopy, but it's hard to tell when birds stumble.
Seriously if I weren't allergic to bird feathers, canaries were pretty good birds.
Plus you can name one Onan "he who casts his seed upon the ground."

Re: Miscellany
So is it tacky for a friend of mine to update her FB with birthday wishes for my daughter and noting that it is "Infant and Child Loss Remembrance Day" in the same post?
She had a stillbirth a few years back, so I get it. But, I don't feel comfortable with reading all that together in one post.

Re: Miscellany
I would say that it was rather thoughtless of her to not think of your feelings. But psychologically, I'm sure the two wishes may be a bit of a mixed bag for her. She is happy for your daughter, but possibly wistful at the same time. Another person would in no way connect those thoughts, but for her it is understandable.
So definately self involved and socially dumb. But forgivable.
Happy birthday to your little girl and hug her extra tight for your friend.
