I love the Angel Butt!
Which reminds me, in my big book of funneh names I have an addition for a couple when I worked in life insurance. His name was Napoleon Butts and he married a girl named Angel.

Re: Rated X-mas Trees (Post your tacky Earth-killing bull-headed traditionalism here)
I saw this tree at a local craft store. I want it (minus the stupid house thingy in front of it) It's like if John Waters designed a base tree for lots of trashy ornaments.

Is there a "System" in place for getting the trees replanted? I would like to recommend it to a few people.

Not so far as I know. But any nursery that sells live trees for landscaping will happily sell anyone an evergreen for use as a Christmas tree, and some even specialize in selling rooted evergreens for Christmas trees. Since the roots are encased in a burlap bag, the tree can be brought indoors.
Many nurseries will not only provide trees, but will plant them for an additional charge to those who lack the time/tools/energy to do it themselves. So it wouldn't surprise me at all if a local nursery would happily agree to supply a live Christmas tree and then plant it for you after the holiday.
There are a few concerns, of course. First, because business is so much slower in the Winter, most nurseries are closed at this time of year. So finding a live tree that can be replanted can be difficult. But some nurseries (and increasingly, some Christmas tree farms) cater to those who want to buy re-plantable trees.
Second, if you live where the ground is frozen this time of year, you can't plant the tree until the Spring thaw. Fortunately, the tree should be dormant anyway, and so will survive just fine if it's kept outdoors until the ground thaws and it can be planted.
A related concern is that a live, rooted tree can't be kept indoors for too long. If the tree is kept in a nice, warm house for more than a couple of weeks, it will come out of its dormancy and begin moving sap, making chlorophyll, etc. If it's then put back outside into sub-freezing weather, it may well die.
Cheers,
Michael

I have a nekkid tree in my living room. We put it up in a drunken silly a couple weeks back, but I haven't had the time to decorate it. It will prolly be after Christmas before I have the chance too. But I keep mine up until 3 kings day so it should be good.

I remember that when I was in college in Minnesota I noticed the grounds crew digging holes in the late fall. Upon my inquiry they explained that they would be planting trees later during the winter and they were digging the holes now before the ground froze. The rationale for planting trees during the winter was that since they were dormant there was less chance of transplant shock. Sure enough, following Christmas break they planted the trees and and they all did quite well the following year.

At first, I was all , because Candy Cane Merman looks sort of like Spider Merman from the thumbnail, but then I realized my error and was all .
Also, there is no excuse for something to exist that is named Bruce Merman and have nothing to do with either Batman or the Incredible Hulk. NO EXCUSE!

Re: Rated X-mas Trees (Post your tacky Earth-killing bull-headed traditionalism here)
Yay! All my previous photos got baleted! That means I can show them off all over again!
Srsly, only got a few new ornaments this year, so I'll show them off, as well as some older ones that didn't quite make it to the thrad last year.
I've yet to get my chubby fingers on the Pinkie Pony ornament, though. Sposably it's available at K-Mart.
