The Tea Party will eat each other. Hopefully, they will do this before they are able to do significant amounts of damage to the country.

My fave part of the e-mail:
Quote:
Sarah spent all morning working on a Face Book post for Joe, she won't use it, not now.
I'm imagining her slaving over a hot PC all morning, sweat upon brow, to write a single post upon the Book of the Face:

"u kno i think joe roxx lol"

Well, give her a break. She can't see North Korea from her house, how do you expect her to know anything about it?

You know, I don't care about the gaffe of accidentally (being charitable here) swapping South for North. What bothers me is the word salad non-answer to the question.

Derpadoo
This stems from a greater problem when we're all 'oh no, what are we gonna do' and we're not having a lot of faith that the White House is going to come out with a strong enough policy to sanction what it is that north korea is going to do. so This speaks toa bigger picture here that certainly scares me in terms of our national security policies.

Remember, the question was "What would you do?" not "What do you think the Obama administration is going to do?"

This seems to be much more than a slip of the tongue. Anyone can slip and say "north" when they mean "south." But now, when corrected, she very clearly seems to be saying something like: "Oh, yeah! Of course we must stand with our North Korean allies, but we also must stand with our South Korean allies!"

:dopey:

This goofy broad is one dumb blob of protoplasm. Which means she has a better than even chance of being elected president in 2012.

No, I took "also" to reflect the treaty plus prudence comment she was making.

I think slip of the tongue is the most likely explanation of North v South. Unreflective scripted stupidity seems the right explanation of the word-salad more generally, though.

Actually, now that I reread it, you're probably right.

Doesn't change the fact that she's stupid as shit, and has a reasonable chance to be elected president.

Did Discovery actually air that scene, and the others described in the article? I thought they liked her.

Wow after watching the Caribou hunting scene, what a fake Palin is at everything but sounding hokey.
"Does it kick" she asks her father. Yes of course it kicks it's a rifle you moron. As someone who has done a lot of air-rifle target shooting with a gun that looks very close to a real rifle the first thing someone who hasn't shot a gun before asks is if it kicks (those that have note that it shakes instead of kicking). Watching her dad reach over and load the gun each time really felt like seeing a father and daughter's first hunting trip together. That her dad is always at her side when she gets a kill is also telling.

While mean I want to see them hand her a shotgun with a hot load and tell her it doesn't kick at all.

She should stick to the shotgun rather than the rifle in any case. Otherwise she could hit Russia with a stray round.

Perhaps it's actually Canada that she can see from her backyard. I mean - how would she know?
