Explosion at Ariana Grande concert in UK
19 dead so far, evidently. Police treating it as possible terrorism. Some of the deaths also appear to have resulted from a stampede.
This sucks. I don't really have anything else helpful or insightful to say right now.

Probably the Irish.

Agreed, although just seeing him quoted in replies is usually enough. Sometimes, if my unhealthy fascination with crap gets strong enough, I'll actually view some of his posts, and then I can stop for a while.

This is terrible news, BTW. I hate the idea of a crowd of people enjoying themselves only to have the night end in terror.

Re: Explosion at Ariana Grande concert in UK
Was driving home from golf this morning listening Radio 5 and they had on someone that was in the foyer when the bomb went off. Him and his wife were blown off their feet from the blast, they were that close. They were hit by some shrapnel, but mostly unhurt. But people all around them were injured or dead. There was a 14 year old girl nearby badly injured. She had a broken arm, head trauma and was bleeding from several places. These amazing brave people who had no idea where their own children were, had no idea if they were still in danger, gave first aid to the girl and the wife stayed with her while the husband searched among the dead and injured for their girls.
They were able to get a home phone number from the girl, get in touch with her mother and eventually get the father (who was there to pick her up) together with her. They also found their own girls who were OK.
I was in tears listening to this guy tell his story. To cap it all off, when they were saying goodbye to him he asked to say one more thing... he wanted people to not let people with agendas run with this. He wanted people to know this was almost certainly a lone wolf or at worst someone part of a very small group of people that want to ruin things. I can't remember his exact words, but he wanted to be clear that we can't let things like this change how we see people, that we can't let people use this to react with more hate and intolerance. This guy was just in the middle of a bombing, his family could have been killed, he saw dead bodies and injured people all around him and he's asking for people to not respond with fear or hatred or intolerance. It was fucking amazing and really inspiring.

Re: Explosion at Ariana Grande concert in UK
You're an idiot. Islamic State claim responsibility for everything, including my train being late in the morning.
Britain has a whole generation galvanized to this sort of thing thanks to the IRA. I'm rarely proud of my countryfolk, but how people reacted in Manchester made me so. There's not going to be any backlash against 'Muslims' from this, because we know that would be as stupid as blaming the Irish for the IRA.
We've had a couple of rough years, but the trend is that Western Europe is getting safer.

Re: Explosion at Ariana Grande concert in UK
Yea, yea, and no-go zones are made up too, right..
Paris migrant neighbourhoods a ‘no go zone’ for terrified women thanks to gangs of men sexually harassing them and hurling insults outside ‘male only’ bars
The countries in western Europe are importing an ideology of conquest. They are not coming to be a part of your society, they are coming to take over your society. They say so, just because your governments deny what they say out of their own mouths, this does not mean anything.
You have been so indoctrinated that you can not discern the difference between culture and race. You are soo afraid of being called a racist, and you get a thrill at getting to name call others, that you have lost rational thought regarding this subject.

You mock the people warning you about the people blowing up your fellow citizens.
You are a sick fuck spiting on the memory of the victims.

Re: Explosion at Ariana Grande concert in UK
So apparently the government knew this guy was a terrorist, but thought he was not "an immediate threat".
Shame

Re: Explosion at Ariana Grande concert in UK
The British government's solution to terrorism is to arrest people for anti-terrorist remarks on twitter and facebook.

Flo was married three times but had to kick all of her husbands to the curb.
Just in case your wife (I assume you are heterosexual) kicks you to the curb, here are a few facts about Flo:
I am eighty-something and hurtling toward Death. I am a professor emeritus of home economics at Chester Alan Arthur Junior High School.
My hobbies include lying in bed all day, drinking Irish whiskey and watching Fox News. I once prepared a nice grilled cheese sammich and discovered the image of the Virgin Mary on the toast.
What are your hobbies and interests? What is your opinion of Mayonnaise?

ISIS only has a few more billion to go and the west will be destroyed!!
The do so little damage but cause so much panic and fear of Muslims, it's almost as if that's their real goal.

As a note to Flo, Jerome also claimed to own three medium sized companies at one point yet seemingly only appears on school breaks.
