Ha ha! Head dot!
I even recognized him from the first.
I just like posting that picture. As the observant reader is no doubt aware.

Re: Miscellany
I was handed a form this afternoon and told to complete it and get it sent in to the state of texas. Okay...I searched and searched for the information I needed to complete the form. Nothing...finally I went to my boss and said, hey, where do I go to find this stuff. There is nothing out here that relates to what these people want. He proceeds to open up his personal drive and pulls up the information that I need. I apologize for not having a clue where the information is located and he says " I know this is a learning curve thing". Excuse me....when it is on your personal drive how am I suppose to get the information? Learning curve my arse.....

Re: Miscellany
You should have snatched him by the hair, like Moe does to Larry.
That would have been funny.
Or put the claw end of a hammer up his nostrils and lead him out of the room.

Re: Miscellany
1. So we have decided that, this weekend, we have to go get two new dogs and name them Greg and The Burger King. And if anyone ever calls The Burger King just Burger King without the The, we'll get all mad.
2. Moustache.
3. Also, yesterday, I did the excellent burn on the LM by writing his name getting peed on like this:
Code:
U
|
|
Little Muffin
and he's all like, "OMG! YOU ARE DUMB! THAT IS NOT HOW YOU ASCII PEE ON SOMEONE! YOU DO IT LIKE THIS: 8=D-----:Mom"
I think it is rude for a child to correct his poor dear mother like that, though, so he is now punished.
4. I just saw a guy get handcuffed across the street, so I think I'm all badass now.

Was he in the parking lot of your apartment complex? 'cause if not then I am still more badass than you.

No. He was in front of the townhouses across the street from my ranch house. I totally watched it, though, by standing so I could see through both sets of garage windows.
Afterward, though, I did some air nunchucks. DID YOU DO AIR NUNCHUCKS?
Ha. Didn't think so.

I always thought those were called numb-chucks.
Maybe that's because I was always hitting myself in the nuts with them.

Re: Miscellany
I was supposed to have a female friend of mine come over tonight, but she was tired after work, and went home instead of coming here.
I like her. We lived next door to one another in our youth. We spent the entire summer of 81 sitting out on my front stoop listening to Journey's Escape album. And, even though I haven't told her, every time a Journey song would come on, all these years, she would be my first thought. I wondered where she was.
Anyway, we've had a standing 'coffee on Wed. morning before work' ever since I ran into her back in October. She came over here last week. Or was it two weeks? I dunno. This past Wed., she brought with her a photo of the two of us. I was 18, and she was 16. Kids.
She informed me Wed. that she thought about me a lot. Kind of freaks me out a bit. I have real trouble as far as letting people get close to me. I've only ever been in two serious relationships in my life, and got mutilated in both. I am very hesitant to have anyone climb my walls. Especially someone who knows me, and where I come from, and knows my family and whatnot. If you meet someone new, then you can pretty much dictate what you want them to see. With her, I'm not a stranger. I'm an old friend, and she knows plenty already.
I am finding out she is very perceptive. She's also a very point blank person, which also freaks me out. She asked me, when we were hiking "Who hurt you so bad that you have this No Trespassing sign up?"
It took me aback, because I am the type of person who will chew on something for a few days and reason things out and come up with an answer. I didn't have an answer for her, and it made me feel bad.
She's heavier than she was when we were young, but aren't we all? She has some gray hair she doesn't try to hide. She got really, really sick about 12-14 years ago and lost a child, and most of her hearing. She wears two hearing aids, and has taught me some sign language. Her eyes are just as bright and her laugh is exactly the same. And she calls me on it any time she thinks I'm not telling the whole story.
I just don't know what to do.
/qb's confessional.
