The server remains on UTC (which is practically the same as GMT) throughout the year, and that's what the program uses. I could alter the program to swap with daylight saving time, but I've always opposed the whole concept of DST - I think the world would be a better place without it - so I won't be making that change.

I'm of the notion that it's time for a true UTC, when the whole friggin' planet is on the same time.

i am not sure, but i think it's one of the ones that basically can't be solved except by guessing, or doing LOTS of thinking-ahead.

I got stuck and worked on it for about 40 mins. Then I left it and had dinner, watched some TV and came back later. I was able to find a convoluted reason to place a 6 in the bottom section and it all went smooth from there.
