I do not mind summer ending, however, spring and fall are my favorite times and so far I'll have neither this year. 20 F below normal highs.
One day last week it was 92 F during the afternoon. By 10 pm it was in the 50s. So we had to turn off the AC and turn the heat back on. It was 45 F by morning. Then it started raining the next day.
Stupid jet stream.

Finally ended like a five month streak where overnight lows were mostly 7 to 10 F above average. I have an attic fan that is good to draw in cold air overnight so the house can coast through much of the next day, but it's barely been used this year. Electric bills were 30% higher than usual. It's hard to sleep when the house is too hot. Anything above 75 makes sleep difficult.

Sunny, clear, but cold.
This is actually the annoying time of year, I recall where you go to bed hot, "who needs a blanket, I can't sleep like this!" sort of thing, and then you wake up chilled to your core, ironically unable to go back to sleep unless you bury yourself.

Ainorite. My weather app usually says something like "Sunny", "Cloudy", etc. Now it's just said "Unhealthy Air Quality" for days.

I'm in Baltimore (locals seem to call it "Baldimur") on business. It's p. damned cold, but we lucked out and will be in & out between the storms. Snow would be nice to see, since we don't get it in the Gay Area, but I'm fine with not having to deal with airport delays or snow chains.
