Biennial minimalism thread
Hello, howdy-do. Yes, it's that time again! Time to declutter and think about shaving my head and owning only a change of clothing.
Thank the heavens it's only nesting and not moving anywhere. So.
1. Should I give away my suits that probably don't/won't fit any more? I don't practice law, live in a place where you can wear cutoffs to church, and haven't worn any of them in like 3 years.
2. Should I give away my non-maternity clothes? Yeah, all of them and just start over after this baby has come. I don't have an extensive wardrobe, so it would only be like a large garbage bag of them. Ok, probably not ALL of them--I want to keep my two cashmere sweaters and my long underwear and my winter jacket. Because I use those a lot here in the desert, I know.
3. Should I give away/sell the books that are still unpacked in the garage? I haven't looked at them in 15 months. There are perhaps a dozen that I keep thinking of and want, but other than that? What should I do with my books from law school?
4. Tell me how you live like a monk and love it.
