It looks kinda like a sports hearse.

I'll see your Country Squire and raise you a 1957 Chevy Bel Aire Nomad Wagon, fins and all. Possibly the coolest station wagon ever that was not a woody.

Well if money was no object I'd have a Ford GT 40 parked next to the Boss.

Don't you think you ought to make room for a Shelby Cobra as well?
Owners of Shelby Cobras have been known to make the claim that they have gotten speeding tickets while the car was parked.

How silly me of me to overlook that. Seeing money is no object it would have to be Carol Shelby's Shelby.

Re: The Car Of The Day (For My Amusement.)
Here's an accessory I've been waiting for:
I don't care for the pickup...it's the Sidewinder I want. On my Toyota Sienna; I think I could retrofit a set of four to six on the roof rack rails. Just the thing for dealing with Beamer drivers.

That reminds me of a Dave Barry column where he bemoaned the fact that you can't (legally) mount a bazooka to the hood of your car.

Enough with muscle cars already. This car is as cute as kitten. My aunt had one of these and we took a trip from San Diego to San Francisco in it sometime around 1963. Two adults and two children. Not much room to stretch your legs in.

Oh Hell Yeah. I love automobiles plain and simple. My first love is the Muscle Car of the 60's and 70's. That's where the weird part of me starts. Went to a show many years ago and this gem was tucked away between the Chevelles, the Mustangs and so on, a 1967 Rambler American 4 door. It was spectacular.

Re: The Car Of The Day (For My Amusement.)
I drove a Goose Grease Green 1968 Rambler American 2-door when I was in High School and then again when I was in Seminary (I only drove it during the summers when I was in college). It didn't have much in the way of looks or power, but it was one tough mother. It was the Timex of cars. It took a licking and kept on ticking. I used to take it out on the desert in Arizona to go camping. Roads, I don't need no stinking roads! By the time I got rid of it in 1979 it was so beat up it hardly even looked like a car anymore, but it still ran.
This one is in much better shape than mine was at the end.

Re: The Car Of The Day (For My Amusement.)
My old man drove pickups, but with a family, he diverted briefly in to Ford Falcon station wagons...
I think it was the straight six engines which provided such dependability...but I'm no gearhead.

Re: The Car Of The Day (For My Amusement.)
My first car which I bought when was 14 was a '64 Ford Falcon station wagon. Tan. $65, cash, from my lawn-mowing gig. No exhaust; didn't even have an exhaust manifold. It was louder than a Harley with straight pipes lol. Whine I junked it after it died after a couple of years I got almost $100 for the scrap metal...when it was new it might have looked like this one.
