Nothing says Tulsa, Oklahoma like a father-son broken beer bottle fight. Both were cut numerous times, one serious enough to require going to the hospital. Neither of them are willing to press charges.

The teacher is obviously the beneficiary of a good classical education and knows her latin.

My father was forced to repeat a grade because he couldn't write with his right hand. He did learn and for the rest of his life he wrote right-handed and did everything else left-handed.

Why are lefties called southpaws? Obviously it is because people from the south are evil and stupid, just like people who are left-handed.

I really want to believe that it's a terrible misunderstanding. The teacher was just sharing the origins and medieval "understanding" of left-handedness and wasn't really for reals in the year of our Lord 2015 seriously saying that a child was evil simply because he was left handed. Unless of course the child really is evil and happened to be left handed then all bets are off.

But then in the year of our Lord 2015 there is a lot weirder shit happening in America so I shouldn't be surprised.

The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation identified the body of 18 year old Carley Massey, who was shot and killed by a hitchhiker near Canton Wednesday. The suspect is still at large, was already wanted for a violent attack in another part of the state.

Man, distraught after a fight with his girlfriend, was killed while crossing a busy East Tulsa street when he was struck by a car early this morning.

The dispatcher feigned ignorance of who the hell was calling, transferred him to a police sergeant. "Paul Tay is interrupting our debate.... waaaaah." Tay, with some protest, left the building escorted by a Matt Damon look-alike, Lars Lindtner, a recent Rogers State University graduate and studio camera operator, "C'mon, Matt Damon, get me out of here!"

A few years ago, Paul Tay made headlines by riding his bicycle down the freeway with a giant inflatable penis in tow.

What do you call it when you have two teens kill someone in a carjacking spree, a shooting that leaves two wounded, one dead, and the shooter charged with first degree homicide, a woman shot in the foot in a drive-by shooting, and an "alcohol-fueled driver" running from police and crashing into another car? Here in Oklahoma, we call that a nice quiet weekend.

Pictured is a house for sale in Tulsa right now, for $439,900. Architect Blaine Imel, trained under famed architect Bruce Goff, who himself was trained by Frank Lloyd Wright, designed this house built in 1962. This is the first time it's been up for sale in 43 years. I went out and bought lottery tickets as soon as I saw it.

That's the part I like best.

Edited: Good luck with the peeling. Those stones are embedded in the concrete walls. The big translucent blue ones are probably slag glass. There are rock shops outside Hot Springs, Arkansas that sell that stuff by the pound.
