We haven't used the 2x ticket yet this game, but just playing a real life version of SY with the Flying Monkey (she kicked my ass) I realized that the last two games I have been running the 2x ticket incorrectly. Before I had the ticket only consume one turn and therefore not get any closer to the reveal than a single ticket. In the game the 2x ticket takes two move slots so it moves the reveal an extra turn closer.

So if you choose to use the 2x ticket, Kael it will advance the game two turns with the detectives only getting to move once.
