Default The Resistance III

The 7 members of The Resistance meet in secret to plan a mission against their corrupt and tyrannical government. But the members know that there are three spies among them. Will the Resistance be able to complete three successful missions?

* This thread is always open for discussion.
* No communication is allowed outside the game thread among EITHER team.
* All votes will be PMed to me and then I will reveal the results.
* If you are nominated to go on a proposed mission, PM me your decision to SUCCEED or FAIL the mission, should the proposal pass, along with your YES or NO vote on the mission proposal.

Every resistance member received the following PM:
Quote:
You are a member of the resistance. Your goal is to complete three successful missions.

The mission sizes will be as follows:

MissionTeam Size
12
23
33
44*
54

Missions with a * will SUCCEED unless there are at least two players who choose to FAIL them.

Order for the leader's turn will be as follows:

#Player
1Daphne GirlLEADER
2chunksmediocrities
3Deadlokd
4Contrapposto
5Kael
6Crumb
7JEROME DA GNOME

So Daphne is the first leader and must choose 2 members to go on the first mission. When you are ready to make an official proposal please put it in BOLD.

Please let me know if you have did not get a role PM from me.

Looks like a proposal to me.

Proposal 1.1: Daphne, chunks

PM me your YES or NO vote and, if you happen to be Daphne or chunks, include whether you would like to SUCCEED or FAIL the mission should the proposal pass.

Okey I voted. Our mission to write very stern letters of disapproval to our Congressional representative is GO.

Or are we on the mission where we spam shoops of dear leader spooning with Abe Vigoda?

Promising, but don't forget it was a two-person mission, so if a spy was sent the best move is to pass it. Which is exactly what happened last game too, so let's stay sharp.

3/3 spies voted "yes" for that mission. That means that means that the likelihood that there were two resistance on it is essentially 0. All the spies would not vote for a mission with two resistance.

Because by my calculations there was only a 2/7 chance that there were two resistance on that mission. If you figure that the first leader is random and (if they are resistance) their choice for a second is also random.

Mission 2.1;chunksmediocrites, Deadlokd, JEROME DA GNOME

I'm kinda just pulling randomly here. I want to be on the team because I'm not a spy and it would look wierd if I didn't include myself; some new blood in the team after the first round puts pressure on spies to FAIL earlier and help the resistance figure out who is who.

So why didn't you put daphne on this mission, do you believe her to be a spy?

I don't have any idea if Daphne is a spy or not- I have no idea about anybody but me at this point.

I think running with the same initial players last time through several rounds was a mistake and made it harder to find out what other players might be doing; then when it comes to a crunch mission with a butt-load of people on it, we have lots of players with no missions at all.

As to Jerome: everything people do makes you suspicious. It's the second round, Resistance is ahead one. Rather than overthink it, I pulled that list, kind of at random.

This is way more complicated than I thought it was.

I don't understand how someone could fail the first mission with no justification. At the time you had no idea who would approve ort disapprove of the mission. I don't get it.
