Re: DC Nation
I don't know who Deathstroke is for reals, but he does look like the DC version of Deadpool.
I can't wait to play the How Many Pouches Drinking Game™.

Deathstroke is the orignal. Liefeld ripped him off to make Deadpool. Someone else later made Deadpool a real character.

Actually, I like it for Discovery History.

Re: DC Nation
To Bat or not to Bat, that is the question.
I would pay grotesque amounts of money to hear Mark Hamill do select scenes from Hamlet in the Joker's voice.

Re: DC Nation
I would pay to hear Mark Hamill do just about anything in the Joker's voice. With lots and lots of laughter.

Re: DC Nation
Man, I think I hate the Watchmen-version of the new DC logo most of all.
See more official versions here.

Re: DC Nation
My first reaction isn't NERDRAGE! I'm kinda looking forward to it, it could be good. Having the same creative team isn't always a good thing for a character (see "Dark Knight Strikes Again"). I just wonder what else can be told about these characters that wasn't already covered in the original series.
And I dread the inevitable continuity-breaking changes and subsequent raging.

Re: DC Nation
I don't think I've seen a good prequel to anything.
Also, I squee'd when I watched the video here. Not because it's Justice League, but because Captain Tightpants is the voice for Green Lantern.

Re: DC Nation
Not too thrilled with the character within the mask bit. Also, I'm disappointed that you didn't go with the one that looks like Dr. Manhattan is taking Silk Spectre from behind.*
*Shamelessly stolen from the great Sean O'Neal.

Janet, I didn't go with that cover because I was saving it for later...
I'm a big fan of Adam Hughes' work. Really.

Re: DC Nation
I am trying to figure out the timeline. Since The Watchmen universe ends in the 1980's and the Keene Act was passed in 1977, will this be set in the 60's and 70's? The historicity of the story was always the biggest draw for me. That and the political implications of their altered timeline.
I am curious to see how they can make it relevant for today's audience. Rorschach in particular was a kind of right wing nut, it would be interesting to see an exploration of how he came to become what he was and why. It is fertile ground for storytelling if they do it right.

Was that a tone-loc quote, or just a reference to the sin of onan?

Much to my surprise, this trailer got me interested in the new movie.
