Really enjoyed it and Tatiana Maslany is ridiculously good.

It varies. Better Call Saul was released simultaneously here with the USA, but most shows are a little later here. Orphan Black, because it is made by BBC Canada, is due to be shown here first on BBC3 (normal TV channel, non streaming) - but they've not even set a date for that yet and I expect it won't be on NetFlix until after the whole series has aired on the terrestrial channel.

Agreed on the opening. The rest of the episode didn't impress me much. It seems like we're already wheel-spinning in the first episode. I have faith that it will go somewhere, but this episode was pretty unmemorable to me.
On the plus sided, Tom McCamus  and James Frain  who seems gone already.  Oh well, can't win them all. I'm sure the good Mr. Frain has several other genre shows waiting for his services.

In the opening we see that Helena has an imaginary scorpion friend. I wonder if there could be a symbolic parallel - Helena : Scorpion :: Sarah : Delphine. As in, Delphine isn't what she seems. I mean obviously we've always sort of wondered is she really a friend in wolf's guts? But I may be trying to stretch it.
And it's always a joy to watch Tatiana play the clones two deep - Sarah as Rachel and Alison as Sarah.

Stoning and Kermit flailing is for Cosima and Ksenia Solo. Solo is from a show called Lost Girl. She was p much the best thing about that show and somehow they made her more adorable and beautiful in Orphan Black. I can't imagine what kind of alchemical deal with a devil they used to do that. She's also, you know, super talented because neither Shay or Kenzi are in any way similar.
And OMG    the rift between Helena and Sarah. ALL MY CRYING AND SADNESSES. The only thing that doesn't ring true in this situation is Helena simply believing the monsterous Mark Faced Boys and their mother.

I'm kinda sad right now. Even though events were foreshadowed and I should have known it was going to happen, it still made me sad. Helena warned Sarah that if you take someone with you when you go out in the desert one of you is the other's sandwich. She initially abandoned Sarah in that compound and went out on her own. AND THEN SHE USED PUPOT AS HER SANDWICH. RIP in peace, Pupot.
Thus far, I'm only disappointed with the sideplot of Alison being a drug dealer. It's way too shades of BrBa and or Weeds for me. It's not like I really have a choice in the matter, but I'm going along because hopefully they do something different with it. Which, so far, they haven't. And the added complication with the High School sweetie is already annoying on top of that.

Oddly enough, after never warming to her before, Alison has become my favorite clone this week. Maybe it was seeing her awful mother, played by a longtime favorite Canadian actress. Or maybe it was seeing her stick up for Felix and Cosima, but I really like what they are doing with her now, overdone plot or no.

What a wonderful and tense episode. All plot lines took a great step forward. My only disappointment is that our new clone is so quickly taken from us. But I guess in compensation and as a bonus we got Felix being someone else for a minute, and omg it was fantastic.
So, it seems Rachel is playing a very long con and I doubt it's played out yet. Truly a performance for the ages along that story.
Flirty Helena is best Helena. Also, laughing Helena made me a little delirious.
