about whether or not there should be raisins in the oatmeal cookies.
Lately, I've been using dried cranberries instead of raisins.
DO NOT TELL YOUR MOM THAT SOMEONE ON THE INTERNET TOLD YOU ABOUT THIS, or you might get grounded.
Oh, you laugh but...
I refuse to admit anything came from the Net to her. Well, maybe the weather.

IMO, a much better dried fruit to add to oatlmeal cookies.
However, I'd rather have them nekkie. Or add peanuts. Maybe chocolate chips.

I had delicious Lebanese food last night, courtesy of professionals who run a dining establishment. I had lentil soup, baba ganoush, and falafel with saffron rice.

Here's my thoughts on the oatmeal raisin cookie thing. Like you care
I don't mind the raisins if they are a dry and chewy type raisin but I detest the plump ones that explode like bugs when you bite them.

I'm rather intrigued to find out how you know what biting into an exploding bug is like.

I used my imagination
My Mom used to make currant pie and my Dad called it "Fly Cemetery Pie", it scarred me for life.

I just realized that I should have made tamales, but it's too late now, so I got a couple different kinds of frozen ones that I can just steam for dinner tonight. I know. Lame.
I'll make real ones soon.
