Re: Crumb's New Friend
And Oliver? What? Are you reading Dickens these days?
and...
Apollo?
What, exactly, inspired that?

Re: Crumb's New Friend
Okay, well. Triumph is a dog and Oliver is pretty close to the gayest name ever, so I guess we have a winner!

Re: Crumb's New Friend
If it's motorcycles that inspire, I think Ducati is superior. It has no dog association, there's a cat in it and "ducat" means money.

Re: Crumb's New Friend
Panther was a British motorcycle manufacturer. They made various models but their most famous were the big 'sloper' singles - the engine was said to fire 'once per lampost' when riding in top gear. They went out of business in the 60's
In Triumph's defence, they did make models called the tiger, tiger cub and thundercat but I don't think of Triumph as a cat's name.

Apollo makes me think of Battlestar Galactica.
Exceedingly cute cat, by the way.

Re: Crumb's New Friend
OMG fuzzeh belleh!!1 You better blow some raspberries on that stat. Also, I think you should veto Oliver because it's too cutesy-urchiny a name for him. He's got a more solid, aristocratic look to him.

Re: Crumb's New Friend
I always think a cat's names should include sibilant sounds as those are the sounds that get the cat's attention.
Try it out - if you go, "shh, fsss" the cat will look at you. This is probably why we call them 'pussy'.
So you should consider names like Fusion, Jasper, Chester, etcetera.
