It was then that the Mayor, beyelzu said that all was over and the threat has passed. He invited everyone over to his house for a celebratory meal.

The meal he presented was a very nice spread, with only the finest foods and drinks that he had being served. He asked everyone to drink up and have a good time. Over the course of a few hours, many stories were told, and drinks drunk, until there was not a drop left. At the end, beyelzu asked for one final toast. He stood up and rounded the table talking about all the town had gone through. He finished his nice speech with talk of greater things to come and the end of this little town. Sock Puppet and Anyanka looked questioningly at each other. Suddenly beyelzu and Talking Rain turned into vampires and had one last drink before leaving the town in ruins.

Vampires win.

Shame on me for playing the game half-heartedly. That's what I get for letting real life get in the way of doing a careful scrutiny.

I just thought Crumb was a clueless n00bie villager like me, I didn't bank on him being a baddie too. And to think I protected both of you. :offended:

There're no hard feelings, I'm more angry with myself than anything. Next time, I will be playing hard for real. :plotting:

I cannot believe no one trusted jashe or really even questioned it much! But the other 2 people in the "circle" who might have defended her (myself and Spenser) were dead.
Good job vamps!
I'm sure you thought you would wake up to the win today but our last wolf had just one more surprise for you.

I really cannot believe that no one trusted jashe. I saw what was happening, and couldnt believe it. At that point in the game the good specials usally out themsleves to protect the town. When jashe named the two vampires, I thought the town had a chance to win, but when they lynched her, I knew that the vampires would win. Good job you two.

To be brutally honest, I thought jashe was completely unconvincing. It's as if she didn't care whether she was believed or not. And then coas put up her half-hearted defense of jashe, and she was entirely unconvincing as well.

Or I'm just fucking blind. Whichever.

I'm sure you thought you would wake up to the win today but our last wolf had just one more surprise for you.
nope, i figured coas was a wolf earlier in the game. but she agreed to vote me as mayor so i didnt kill her. i announced my pete hit for loonie the day before, i even told crumb that i could change the hit and win the game, but i wanted a last day of voting for fun. plus i knew that the vamps controled 3 of the seven votes, so i would only need one other person to vote with me and crumb, and i had the trust of a villager and the priest. i had sent a pm to coas and she agreed to vote me for mayor if i dropped my lynch vote, at that time, i was pretty certain of her wolfieness.

so it wasnt a surprise at all.

i was actually disappointed that there wasnt more of a fight when jashe outed as a seer, i thought it was going to be really touch and go.

course now no one will ever trust me again, look at the voting in the mafia thead righ tnow

actually, jashe was incredibly convincing to an adam or trillian or spenser style player, one who doesnt really give trust and only looks at arguments. one of the problems with mafia or ww is that if you look at anyone long enough you can convince yourself that they are guilty as hell.

until i started lying about her being the witch and she got a little heated. i was really surprised that no one believed her. course i had expressed doubt about the seer cuz of the day two mixup which led to the towns downfall ultimately.

when i logged in that morning, i had a pm from crumb with the subject line, oh shit. when i read her post, i was sweating bullets, i was sure that i was going to die that day. so i brazened it out, just going hard at her for being the witch.

thanks for the congratulations, balluga.
