I haven't kept up with it since before covid but from what I remember it was an old school style site, I think he might have coded the HTML himself.

Lawsuit over naked baby on Nirvana's "Nevermind" is revived | The Seattle Times

The person in the famous "Nevermind" cover is suing the band as a "victim of child sexual abuse imagery." I don't agree that this image is child sexual abuse, but maybe the person has a compelling case. It was dismissed because the statute of limitations ran out.

Quote:
A federal appeals court ruled against grunge rock group Nirvana on Thursday, reviving a lawsuit about the band’s use of a naked baby on the cover of its 1991 album “Nevermind.”
The federal court decided that every republication of the picture counts as a new potential injury. It didn't make any judgment on the actual injury or any other claims.

So this chump is going through a mid-life crisis because his twinky is visible to a bunch old fart Cobain fans who would never know it was him unless he gets in their face and shouts, "I'm that guy!" and now he wants "Compensation" because he never signed the Model Release form?

Loser.

Seriously, This kinda feels like a money grab or some sort of performative religious conversion, as if he manages to get the Nevermind cover declared a child abuse image, the next question will be whether they arrest him for promoting and profiting from that same image because he seems to have spent at least some time showing it to others and posing in public with it.

NPR"Elden has spent three decades profiting from his celebrity as the self-anointed 'Nirvana Baby.' He has re-enacted the photograph in exchange for a fee, many times; he has had the album title Nevermind tattooed across his chest; he has appeared on a talk show wearing a self-parodying, nude-colored onesie; he has autographed copies of the album cover for sale on eBay; and he has used the connection to try to pick up women,"

It seems like a waste of everyone's time, but I think I'm OK with the decision to reverse the statute of limitations ruling. A re-issue would certainly draw new attention to the image, potentially causing new injury.

I just don't know what the injury is, and I'm skeptical.

Yeah, I don't get the 'abuse' bit. I seem to remember that kid looking pretty happy.

I definitely would never try doing that while holding the avocado though, that pit is slippery :shudder:

Meanwhile, apparently for years and years my parents thought avocados were way too much work to be worth eating at home... because they would peel the avocado, instead of cutting it in half and scooping out the insides.

Unfortunately, they saw my brother do it the proper way before I saw them do it. So they've still never shown me how to "peel" an avocado.
