Default To Bard, or not to Bard. That is the Question.

In the What Are You Reading Thread, Nullfidian and I recently discovered that we were both regular contributors to the Play of the Month discussions on Humanities.Lit.Authors.Shakespeare back in the day. We tossed around the idea of bringing it here, since it's been so long since we did it.

Is there any more interested in having a Shakespeare play of the month discussion? Here is how it used to work. First we start the month with a poll to decide what play we will discuss the next month. We only have the poll for a week or so at the start of the month, giving the rest of the month to read, see or listen to the play. Then, starting the first of the next month we discuss it. Generally we vote for one play at a time, but in the case of Henry IV or Henry VI, we can agree in advance to do all the parts on consecutive months.

So, what do you think? :shakespeare:

I see five yes, and one person who's interested enough to read our chat about it. Are those enough interested members to make it worth starting a nominations thread?

I think so. I think to start we should go with the big names that people are familiar with. What do you say to the big four tragedies, and four big comedies, say Twelfth Night, Dream, Much Ado and As You Like It for the first poll?

Any poll with Twelfth Night in it works for me.

I am going to at least watch, but I am too afraid to commit to a poll answer.
