I'm sorry about your aunt's accident, maddog, but it seems like her moving in with you for a while will be a good thing for you and her both. How does she feel about vacating her apartment?

thanks, liv. She'd actually been thinking she wanted to move out for many months, at least since the beginning of the year, so no sweat on that point. It's a bit of a relief, actually. AND the timing was perfect (sorta): this happened right BEFORE she was supposed to sign a lease for another year (and not right AFTER!) So I've given the 30 days notice, and my 30 days are ticking away quicker than you can say "Jack Robinson."

Ah, excellent. I would hope the landlord wouldn't have held her to a lease given the circumstances, but you never know. I hope your aunt loves kitties. :purr:

Grrr.... Not with this connection! It was up for a little while one evening and then again the next morning for a few minutes. This is the first time it has worked for days! I doubt I'll post much unless this gets much better. I hope you all are doing fine.

About 2 minutes after I submitted my post, the connection dropped again for about 12 hours. Ah, well. At least the view is nice. I'm watching the sunrise with a cup of coffee as I look out into the Mediterranean. Life could be much worse. We also bought a boat just before I left on this trip so I have something fun to look forward to when I return home.
