It's okay, you guys! As "Mitt" "La Cucaracha" Romney recently told Fox News, that ol' dog straight-up LOVED riding on that roof! Also, the dog was in an "air-tight container," you know, umm, the kind of container that keeps air in and lets diarrhea out. Or something.

I can't find a link now, but I heard on NPR that Mitteo's only on-record response has been, "I love my dog." Sort of puts it in perspective the next time he says he loves his country.

On NPR this morning, they were talking about how Santorum claims to believe that people should engage in sex only for the purpose of procreation, and that he would outlaw all forms of birth control, even condoms.
They further claimed that he has said that if a woman is raped and gets pregnant as a result, "she should accept that it's God's will" and allow the pregnancy to run its course.
And this guy actually has a shot at becoming President?

I happened to catch part of the Lawrence O'Donnell interview with Friess, wherein Friess laughs it off as a joke that is funny if you're over 70 because "haha, the birth control pill wasn't even available back in those days, so the idea of using an aspirin for birth control is just outrageously silly" or some stupid back-peddling, smarmy bullshit like that that we're supposed to believe.
