I just realized it was cold outside when we started this game.

I dunno, it's been a week since I checked it and made my move, but I don't think you even CAN catch me anymore... I mean, unless I walked into one of you on purpose.

Re: Scotland Yard 3 - Game Thread
Yes, Kael is right. I think he is uncatchable at this point. The detective closest to him is stuck. I will post a full reveal. Congrats Kael, they were very close to you a few times.

Re: Scotland Yard 3 - Game Thread
There were lots of times I had to abort my escape plans from being cut off. I think the key to my victory was actually not worrying about the big picture much. I would have only vague notions of where I was headed or where I wanted to be five moves down the road, instead focusing on the next move or two, trying to stay flexible and ready to change direction and try something else.
I never did get to ride the ferry. Jerk cops, stepping all over my London sight-seeing.

Re: Scotland Yard 3 - Game Thread
HA! I thought he'd try going southbound on the outer bus lines at endgame....
Yeah, good game, Kael. I know what you mean about any long-term plan. When I had the fugitive role, I made a point of keeping every detective at least two steps away by whatever mode. That was the extent of it. Of course, once I broke loose in the end game, I spent my time riding the tubes all over with black tickets.
I think my basic plan would have worked, had we been able to push you against the ropes on the east end, away from the underground hubs. As it was, we wasted too much time trying to keep you off them and not enough time actively in pursuit. Future detectives should probably try to balance that. I think my late jaunt to the northern perimeter was a misjudgment, as well; I should have struck directly east.

Re: Scotland Yard 3 - Game Thread
Yes, I think you guys definitely lost by not being aggressive enough going after him in the first half of the game. it is certainly good to try to cage him up, but you are not going to capture unless you go for it.
