This sounds like fun.

And seeing how shrewd a negotiator I am, that's fun in the Dwarf Fortress sense :giggle:

Glad to hear there is interest. The game plays 3-6, so we can play with just you guys. I'd love to play with six though. I have some work to do on it, so it will be a bit before it is ready.

I think the game Spyfall would work well as a forum game. It is a social deduction game where players are either trying to find the spy while at the same time not letting the spy know their current location. The randomly determined spy will be trying to figure out the location without revealing that they have no idea what it is.

The players take turns asking each other questions to attempt to find the spy and demonstrate their own innocence.

Spyfall | Board Game | BoardGameGeek

I'd like to get 5-8 players if I can. It doesn't really go well for the spy with 3 or 4. Anyone interested in trying it out?

I'd love to play, but I generally suck at this type of game, and I don't have a lot of time to devote to it anyway. :sigh:

Just came back from a friend's house and we played games tonight instead of doing any meaningful pre-dragon con planning.
I brought Exploding Kittens, they had Star Fluxx(awesome!), Nuts!, Carcassonne(fun), and a couple more we didn't get a chance to investigate.

Star Fluxx was by far the best of the evening.

Star Fluxx is indeed awesome, but even more awesome is Pirate Fluxx.

I have heard of VASSAL before, but I have not ever tried it. I know that there are a lot of modules available for existing board games. For playing games online and prototyping game designs, it could be a great tool.

We haven't played any games in this old Colosseum in a long time. Is anyone interested in playing something? I could run another Simpsons guess who tournament, or maybe another article 27 match.

Or maybe we could try code names which is what I was apparently testing 2 years ago in the post up there. I'd just like something fun to do with my fellow :ff:ers. :yup:

I liked that one with the spies, but would play any of your games. Always well hosted.
