O, hey, OLD PERSON IN A NEW CAR - WTF with going 40 on a one lane 55-mph zone mountain road until you hit the passing lane and suddenly you can go 70 uphill so as to make it fricken impossible to pass you since MY car had to slow the f down to not rear end you in the first place and - though it is a V6, it is also not as new as your car - which is clearly capable of not going so slowly as to annoy me and the 5798 cars who were stuck behind you.

You know, I give up on ever thinking that there will be anyone decent hired for the receptionist position where I work. It's just one douche after another. Fuck it and fuck them.

And if you took this job because it's all you could find, again, I say, oh-dee-fucking-well. If I were in your shoes, I'd be damn grateful that I was able to find a halfway decent job in today's economy and I'd DO the fucking job I was hired to do rather than buck everything every step of the way and try to get my hands on other peoples work (mine ) rather than learn how to do my own fucking job right because I feel that my job is beneath me.

So, here's the thing. This is a bookstore. In a mall. Not a library. So imagine my total lack of sympathy when you interrupt my shelving to tell me that you are sitting in the public sitting area and having trouble concentrating on your book about Jung because there is "a man reading aloud over there".
Me: (hesitating and hoping I am hallucinating the stupid, but no) To his child?
Her: Yes. He's been reading to her for like a half an hour now. It's very distracting.
Me: (No patience at all, but not actually shouting) I hesitate to ask someone to not read to a child. I can show you a different sitting area - we have a couple of other comfortable ones.
Her: (Obviously passively-aggressively put out that I am not going to snatch books from fathers' hands) No. You don't need to show me where they are, I know. I can find them myself.

The guy had been reading to his daughter for some time - I'd passed them a number of times and admired both the fact that he was doing it and the fact that he was doing it in a low voice. The kid was engrossed. It was one of those scenes of which you'd want to take a picture but you know it could never match the reality for niftiness.

Why the fuck do I need to fill out a Management of Change Report (MOCR) to get some fucking dildo in I.T. to fix what was supposed to be working in the first place? Explain that to me, dickwad. Just fix it, shit-for-brains imbeciles.
Also, I am not filling out a fucking Abnormal Operating Conditions Report (AOC) for a fucking communications failure that happens multiple times every single fucking day. A failure at those sites IS NORMAL, not abnormal. The fucking failure is the cheap-ass bastards that run the goddamn sinking ship who won't spend a dime to save a dollar, but leave a dollar waiting on a dime all the fucking time.
The fucking company motto is "Never let operations get in the way of a meeting." They have meetings to plan meetings for scheduling meetings about meetings. Most meetings suck dead donkey dick, nothing productive comes out of them anyway. By the way, setting daily flow targets is a total waste of everyone's time, nobody does anything about them anyway. Oh, well, it's not like they'd be doing anything other than whiling away their time on eBay or overstock.com or playing the suckass solitaire game that came with Windows NT.

Today I took three boxes of books to the socialist bookstore so they can sell them or send them to prisoners and whatnot. The socialist bookstore is next to one of those headshops where they have to burn stinky incense all the damn time. It seeps through the walls. Anyway I got back a little while ago and I kept smelling these occasional little whiffs of a sweet smell and was like wtf, that damn incense is sticking to my clothes, but it turns out they were spraying for bugs outside.

Now, I understand why a work place with many people and many things that should not be lost or stolen has a need to label certain things. Tool boards and parts bins with labels are very useful. The peace of mind knowing that everything has a place and that there is a place for everything has intrinsic value to the business. This mentality has persisted where I work for, I'd guess, going on at least 8 years now. So I hope it's clear to anyone here when I say WHAT THE BLEEDING BLOOD FAPPING FUCK IS THIS SHIT YOU DUMB COCKSUCKERS?

I've done that kind of thing before and gotten in some minor trouble. But next week manufacturing is furloughed - I could probably ninja something in there.
