Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
I just noticed in the 'New Posts' page, none of the threads have the original posting date. Once you click the thread, the date is there, though. I don't know if that's important or not.

Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
I'll probably recreate the code to segregate stickies, but I've given them a different background color to help differentiate in the meantime.

Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
There appears to be a problem with the smilie search function. It only shows 10 smilies per search!

Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
Little issue with the 'Who's Online' list. There are some gaps in it. I suspect that if you're doing something other than reading a thread (e.g. searching forums) it returns a blank next to your name.

Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
Also, the Journals and Articles are currently offline. We've replaced the article system we just don't have the new one configured yet. The Journal hack is just broken, but the data is intact. If anyone has a need to access something in there right away just let me know.

Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
I already ran into some of the changes, I couldn't figure where the quote button went for the quick post.
I think it's looking good, I know you will be debugging it for a few days, I'm sure!

Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
'New posts' isn't working for me when I click on it from the home page. It might already have been mentioned by someone else, but I'm too much of a lazy mare to check.
Also 'quick replies' don't post; I have to use 'new reply'.
I don't mean to complain (honest). I still love this site.

Smooth! Way to go!
I'm loving it already!
Just don't mention this approach on your resume.
It's already 2007 in Sydney.

Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
Some minor notes.
I'm seeing messages like "Page generated in 0.76136 seconds with 6 queries" at the bottom of each page. I like it, but it weren't there before.
I can't use html at least not in my signature

Also, when I first logged on to the Portal, it was so cool to see the smilie poll in all it's glory on the right hand side! Way ta go!

Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
Veritas, it sounds like you're having javascript issues. Try ctrl-F5 to clear the cache on every page where something isn't working and let me know if that helps.

Never fear - the author of that hack has sent instructions to the admins of the board on how to correct this.

Multiquoting is my new toy!
Still having problems with the smiley menu, though. I click on a category, then 'search', and it resets itself to the original smiley menu page.

That's odd. I can - just with problem of only 10 being returned noted by Stormlight.
Is it still broken? What happens? What browser are you on? Is javascript enabled? Did you do anything to upset liv?
eta - OK, you answered 'what happens'. I'm puzzled. Is there no message like 'no smilies found'?

Re: Forum Upgrade 2006
Yes, it resets to original smiley menu with no smileys at all, IE7, what's that?, I don't think so.
