That's funny, 'cause I almost mentioned Saw as an example of a so-called scary movie that's really more of a gore-fest.

I don't like rollercoasters either. It's not that I don't like thrills, I just like being in control of them. I do like driving really fast on a winding road though. I do like four-wheeling on steep mountain trails.

Hey foo, thanks!

It doesn't have to be about 'scary' movies per se, the thread title is just a quote from Scream.

The "angry man" avatar was a puppet! Rudolph is downright hardcore by comparison.

I do! But the gore-fest ones are  I like the psychological ones, like The Ring or the original The Omen.

I thought Videodrome was pretty scary, and Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer.

Jacob's Ladder scared me, especially the demons/spirits/figments of the imagination with the shaky heads.

Brrrr....gives me the chills.

Oooh yeah, Videodrome! That was freaky.

Pretty much anything by either David Croenenberg or Clive Barker is going to be good. :eager:

Also, when you ride rollercoasters, you don't have to tolerate horrible plots or acting.
That's a subjective call. If you looked around, you could probably find people who find scary movies more fun than rollercoasters. Hell, I know someone who does. She loves scary movies but won't get on a rollercoaster.

So true. You know, you can get enjoyment from such movies though--by laughing at them.

i dig horror movies, i think they are fun, but in general the best ones are more of suspense thriller like seven.

i liked saw, 28 days later, dawn of the dead both original and remake, the ring was pretty good.

yeah, i dig them, some are more funny than scary though like cabin fever.

RISE FROM THE ASHES, OLD THRAD AND BREATHE AGAIN!

From the brilliant comedy mind of Jordan Peele (yes, that Jordan Peele) is this wonderfully freaky looking GET OUT movie.
