14. Trump wasn’t running for Pope. He never claimed moral authority. His proposition has been that he’s an asshole (essentially), but we need an asshole to fight ISIS, ignore lobbyists, and beat up Congress. Does it change anything to have confirmation that he is exactly what you thought he was?
America needs this asshat, eh, Scott?

Way to uphold your own convictions, Scott.

Every time someone defends this behavior as 'normal' I think oh look there goes another sexual assaulter or wanna-be sexual assaulter. It's also interesting that he mentions the LGBT community as the mainstream ideas that sexual assault is Man on Woman means both gay and lesbian communities have issues with assault and abuse that aren't seen that way by the assaulter because they aren't following the mainstream concept.

Your problem is that you are trying to defend the twisted gay and LGBTXYZ-whatever agenda.
Step 1: If it's gay, then have riotous intercourse with it.
Step 2: If it's not gay, then bend the shit out of it until it *is* gay, and then proceed to Step 1.
Every civilization that has ever permitted rampant, open homosexuality has fallen into the dustbin of history.
Is that what you really want for America, traitor?
Really?

Fact check: What are Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, the early United States (which was in many places completely indifferent to gay, lesbian, and bisexual conduct), and a horde of other countries that are still standing?
I mean, yes, if you want to go back hundreds of years to civilisations that wouldn't exist anymore regardless of historical factors, and disregard ones that still exist, then maybe your statement is defensible. But going back to ancient Greece is not a very good argument.
PS: 200 euros. Kicken.

Look closely guys! It's the Librarian not the lolbert!
dammit
I've never made that mistake before. I should really just put one of them on ignore or something so I don't make it again.
Anyway, can I just post the entire debate transcript here? Nearly everything Drumpf said was stupid shit, and 99% of it was false (I am willing to believe that he may actually respect her tenacity - though that does flatly contradict everything he's ever said about her "stamina", so who knows for sure).

All this reminded me I still read Dilbert out of habit. I think that needs to stop.
I have some residual feelings for it, because it was a unique voice on the comics page. It came to national attention right when I started my engineering career, and it hit many familiar notes.
But basically, it's an OK comic which really drops in quality any time the subject ventures outside of bad bosses and crazy coworkers.
Knowing that Scott Adams is a piece of shit makes it harder and harder to tolerate the comic whenever it strays from its central competency.
Plenty of great artists (Scott Adams is neither, but I enjoy Dilbert much as you do) have great personal flaws. Wagner. Many other anti-Semites. Hemingway. Woody Allen, Roman Polanski. Orson Scott Card. Many other gay-bashers.
Good art doesn't redeem their bad deeds or character, but their flaws don't make the art immoral.
Discuss. (15 marks) This will be on the end of term Philosophy 101 exam.

When Dilbert veers into mocking feminists or women, the comic is usually terrible. Knowing that Adams has said remarkably sexist things makes it even more painful. Likewise for many other subjects.
Today's comic was about the clueless CEO purchasing a media company that has earned a terrible reputation (It's not even a veiled reference to Gawker, he included #Gawker as a hashtag). It's a joke about how clueless the CEO is for buying a company without doing any research on it. That's pretty typical Dilbert material, but then I realized we'll get a week of jokes surrounding this merger. There will be potshots aimed at Gawker. I care nothing at all about Gawker, I just realized that I wasn't looking forward to the rest of the week.
Ah yes, the company that purchased Gawker's assets, shut down Gawker proper and removed some of their troubling posts, totally didn't do their research on what they were buying.
(Gawker owns sites such as io9/Gizmodo, Jezebel, Kotaku, and other nerd niche sites.)

“I just don’t think it’s useful to be doing investigation after investigation, particularly of your own party,” Paul added. “We’ll never even get started with doing the things we need to do, like repealing Obamacare, if we’re spending our whole time having Republicans investigate Republicans. I think it makes no sense.”

No it's better to endlessly investigate Democrats (one in particular) and their non-issues.
