I have never met weird al.

That said, I keep trying to come up with a complete list of who all his original songs are built on. A WHOLE lot of them, at the very least, are written to sound like a particular band, without being a parody of a particular song. I suspect it's probably all of them, and he just listens to a lot more music than I do.

Yup, It's Donny. In interviews Al has said he asked Donny Osmond because he needed a white and nerdy icon.

Seeings as we're listing our favourite Weird Al videos...I have to go with the classic Eat it. It was one of the very first videos I can remember from when I was a kid.

He is not touring now, but when he does, I really really recommend that you catch AL live. His show is very entertaining and funny.
