Bush was a bit simple, (and amusingly I think his painting and occasional photo op with other president for good causes but otherwise chill life is partly him recognizing people puppeted this simpleness) but with Trump It sometimes feels like an actual child speaking.
Let's look at that actual quote,
Just think of this in a child's reasoning, things go places on trucks, trucks are cool they go vroom. On the road they can go through puddles. But not in the ocean. The ocean is big. How can we get stuff to people in the ocean if we can't go vroom vroom?? Don't you see the problem? It's a huge problem? Big oceans are tough. That makes me sad. That's ok, I'm a good boy!
I don't think he understands even the basics of shipping and infrastructure. He's just always told someone "make sure we have MAGA hats" and they took care of the Chinese mass production and shipping and he imagines it like the scene from Willy Wonka where there's a factory somewhere in America where hundreds of trucks line up and simultaneously roll out from the factory to every city in America.
Dubya seemed very aware he'd pushed the Peter Principle to the outer extreme, and it wouldn't surprise me if in some memoir sometime he mentions, "I called on my dad a lot for advice, and sometimes, Bill (Clinton) or Jim (Carter)."

I'm really getting tired of the terrible, ham-fisted writing in this season. The writers could at least try putting some nuance into their characterisation again. Having the party in power be hypocrites about literally everything stopped being interesting several months ago. Can't we get the black guy who used to be the lead back? He was cool.

This week the country turned to a humanitarian crisis in Puerto Rico, where 3.5mm Americans lack basics like water, food, medicine and electricity. At least 16 have already died. Trump seemed split between denying the crisis altogether, and blaming Puerto Rico, its officials and the media. The regime’s late and inadequate response to Hurricane Maria is the clearest fallout of Trump’s unstaffed federal agencies.
This week Trump’s regime came under increased scrutiny for blatant and irreverent kleptocracy. HHS Secretary Price was the first casualty from unfolding scandals of several regime members involving millions spent on chartered and military flights, and other wasted taxpayer money. Social media giants Facebook and Twitter also took center stage in the probe of Russia’s involvement with the 2016 election, and possible Trump campaign complicity.

To be honest, Milo is such a troll and so dishonest that I don't even take it for granted that he's telling the truth when he says/indicates:
1. He married a black man. I'll believe it's a legal reality when the paperwork is filed and the man presents himself and I may never believe it's a sincere relationship
2. His mother is/was Jewish. I'd like someone to try to get confirmation from the woman herself.
3. He's gay. This one seems the least likely to be a lie, but still...
I personally make it a policy not to believe anything Milo says.
In other news, seems like Mueller's investigation is taking the Steele dossier extremely seriously, and a lot of it has already been proven true. In particular, it sounds like Mueller is in contact with Steele as well as with some of Steele's sources, and the intelligence community seems to take it as at least 80% accurate. If even half of it is accurate, it's arguably the most substantial act of treason in the history of the country. It seems as though Putin takes it seriously as well, since one source connected to the dossier seems to have been murdered. This entire thread from Seth Abramson is worth reading.
THIS IS HUGE. Please share this news.
A substantial percentage of the Steele Dossier has already been proven true. https://t.co/Z3Ap2ulrCJ
And to answer the inevitable question, all signs point to there being at least one pee tape.

"Free speech week" in Berkeley turned out to be so much of a bust that I wouldn't be surprised if Milo was trolling with it too. After all sorts of worry about "dangerous" antifa and violence he cancelled his free speech week, and now PC conservative crybabies are sueing UC Berkeley for freedom of speech violations after it was announced Berkeley is investigating on campus hate speech by students connected to the event.
In the same way that Trump basically lives on praise, there are some that survive on feeling persecuted, even if they have to start the fight just to scream unfair.
