"She said she followed him and saw that he had a gunshot wound to his penis"
While I assume he was screaming something about being shot, I really like the picture this paints of him running in silent, her seeing him with his pants down, and smirking, 'See whatcha got there is a run of the mill ol GSWP.' Like she gets at least one a week through those parts, especially at 2am.
How on Earth do you pull the trigger by sitting on a gun?
It must be one of those silly excuses that doctors hear all the time, like from people who get objects stuck in their anuses by "slipping in the shower". There was an article about a guy who got pumped up like a balloon by falling on a compressed air connector on a vehicle or something. You're not fooling anyone, I know you tried to make the biggest fart ever and it got out of hand.
Yeah, um see, whatcha got there is a possessed gun out for human blood. A leg wound will buy you a few days, but it's coming to get cha, only thing you can do is run.
Today was a super awesome day in my neighborhood for gun safety in general. Two dudes (why men, because I know from the police report) decided that 10 pm was a great time to sell a gun at a park. The buyer of gun decided to shoot the two sellers (not critically thankfully) then steal said gun and run off. Police came applied first aid. Meanwhile shooty guy is running around with two guns now. Like they said:
Quote:
Officers said the gun was "bad"
I'm seeing a string of coming-of-age-American-identity-horror movies here. The very idea that guns could be at all bad will require some suspension of disbelief, of course.
Sadly, he was unable to pull off the shoot yourself in the penis trick, but he was close, ya know, ya can't win 'em all.
However, he did receive the consolation prize of a KKK on hand to say stupid shit.
Quote:
Billy Snuffer, who identified himself as the Imperial Wizard for the Rebel Brigade of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, told HuffPost that there were KKK members scattered across the battlefield to “aid law enforcement” and protect the area’s 20 or so Confederate monuments from Antifa.
“The Confederate battle flag has nothing to do with slavery,” he said, standing in the same area where 154 years ago the Confederate Army marched into town, abducting free black Americans and sending them to the South to be sold into slavery.

Considering how many incidents the US has regarding morons and their highly irresponsible use of firearms, I think it's time to begin the conversation of repealing the Second Amendment. Owning a lethal weapon isn't and should never be a right.
I should note that I am not against the private ownership of guns. I just think they should be a privilege that's earned and not a right. Not everyone is responsible enough to handle owning lethal weaponry.

Under no circumstances should Quentin Tarantino be allowed to befoul Star Trek.
While I'm inclined to agree, I think there's exactly zero chance of this happening. No matter how many people -- even schoolchildren -- are slaughtered, nothing seems to be capable of breaking the NRA's vice-like grip on Congress.
What's particularly frustrating is that even the Congresscritters who insist that virtually everyone should be allowed to carry guns everywhere -- that even the mentally ill should have access to guns, that guns should be allowed in parks, in schools, etc., etc., etc. -- don't allow private citizens to bring guns into the Congressional building.
Which neatly demonstrates that they don't believe their own claims.

That isn't so much the fault of the NRA in and of itself inasmuch as it's a systemic problem of the political system in the United States. Bribery via lobbying, Super PACS, and campaign contributions by deep pocketed rich fucks is the real issue. The fact of the matter is that the gun lobby has hijacked the NRA and have been using it to line the pockets of the gun industry.
Unless and until all private money is banned from the political system, this will continue to be an issue. This is why efforts by Wolf PAC and Move to Amend is so important. We need an election system that is funded through (and only by) tax payer dollars if we want to fix our political system.
It wouldn't end political corruption, but at least it would hopefully resolve the systemic and systematic corruption of the US political system by the rich and powerful (who in a just society would individually have no more influence than a school teacher or janitor).
The gun lobby has used this rot to take over the NRA and use its influence to put the kibosh on any sensible gun regulations. All this in an effort to increase the profits of gun manufacturers. As far as I am concerned, the bastards have blood on their hands.

The point I was making was that making the site unusable for Adblock users is going to make me go elsewhere not pay them for their content or disable Ablock.
