A friend of a coworker got a tornado warning in TX.

Our 20% eclipse here looks like a complete bust. We're about 2 minutes away from max coverage and we still have thick cloud cover.

It's oddly warm and clear here so I used walking to the store to get a tomato plant as an excuse to get outside. The quality of light was nicely odd and I'm told if I'm lucky my "tomato" will grow up to consume all of humanity, we can only hope.

I also saw two people wearing Twilight: Eclipse shirts.

We had some clouds, but they cleared up and we got a nice view of the whole process.

The weather appears to be broken in Europe. Athens turns orange, Helsinki goes white

Our snow part of that reporting would normally not have been such a problem, but we were fully into spring mode and most of us had summer tyres and the snow ploughs were not on call any more. Thankfully, a lot of people are now able to stay home when this happens.
Our area definitely got more than the reported Helsinki amount of 20 cm from Monday evening to Tuesday, closer to 30 cm, but that amount was localised to the area near the coast and west of Helsinki.
