Gawker sez:
Quote:
Though Levi insists ex-girlfriend Lanesia Garcia's baby isn't his, "Levi is one of three possible fathers who were with Lanesia during the probable week of conception," reports Radar. A Palin publicist says Bristol is now having doubts about her wedding to young Levi:
A rep for the Palin family, however, told RadarOnline.com exclusively that "no official decision has been made."
The rep added that Levi and Bristol are still talking only "by text message."

America's First Families celebrate nuptial bliss
"Today, we watched with great pride and overwhelming emotion as Chelsea and Marc wed in a beautiful ceremony at Astor Courts, surrounded by family and their close friends. We could not have asked for a more perfect day to celebrate the beginning of their life together, and we are so happy to welcome Marc into our family." Interfaith ceremony included elements from both traditions
"There was an interview with her and Bristol wasn't happy about some of the things said," the source tells E! News. "There was also some picture on Facebook of him and Briana and Bristol just said, ‘Let's hold off on the engagement.'" Babby daddy engagement kibosh after fight over ex-girlfriend

Re: Caribou Barbie is at it again
Article at Huffpost had background info that video lacks: Palin's private goons searching private citizens in a public area. Palin's private goons remove banner from private property despite Palin pretending to support freedom of speech.

Re: Caribou Barbie is at it again
Gateway Pundit has the real scoop on this alleged 'teacher':
THAT WAS NO TEACHER… Unhinged Leftist Who Confronted Palin Is a Singer in a Drag Queen Band
But leave it to the anti-Palin crowd to bring their insidious, anti-American pairing of "facts" and "logic":
Quote:
Ahem – “Theater Tech” is the name of the class. It teaches highschoolers how to create sets, lighting plans, build props, etc. Her collegue Amy Christenson isn’t a “Music” and Mark Robinson isn’t a “Choir” all by himself. The word that follows their names is most likely the name of the class they teach.
And she’s not a singer in a Drag Queen band, she’s obviously performing in the stage play “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.” If she was in the Sound of Music, would you claim she was an Austrian au pair?

Re: Caribou Barbie is at it again
And by "no teacher" we of course mean "a teacher".
But pandering to nutjobs is not a profession with a mandate for hewing close to the truth.

Isn't Sarah Palin's father a science teacher?

To be fair, being in a production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch does imply that you're gay and trans-friendly, and likely implies that you're a left-winger.
Sarah Palin is still a twit though.

Anyone else catch that Bristol's baby's daddy, Levi, is gunning for Sarah Pallin's old job, mayor of Wasilla.
News - Wasilla Mayor Slams Levi Johnston - Movies, TV & Music - UsMagazine.com
It's a dysfunctional family circus, or another stunt from a reality show, will those things never die?

Good grief, her reaction to the "I'm a teacher" reply speaks volumes regarding her naked anti-intellectualism. I kept hoping the woman would ask Palin something -- anything -- about the Constitution. "How many amendments are there?" "What does the 10 th Amendment guarantee?" Five will get you ten that the ignoramous who keeps braying about how she wants to help elect politicians who "understand the Constitution" wouldn't have been able to answer.
Someone once wrote, "Republicans prefer their politicians to be ignorant and stupid." That's the best explanation I can think of for Palin's otherwise inexplicable popularity.
Cheers,
Michael

Re: Caribou Barbie is at it again
I hope the hell she does run. And intellectual conservatives (and there are some of those, believe it or not) run away and either don't vote, or vote for Obama again.

Re: Caribou Barbie is at it again
True. I have an extremely intelligent and well-educated friend who's also a very vocal Conservative. Though we disagree on many (most?) political issues, I can't help but admit that he's very well-informed and that his ideas are usually fairly well thought-out. And he's just as contemptuous of the ignorance and naked anti-intellectualism that characterizes far too many "Conservatives" as am I.
Cheers,
Michael

Every.Single.Bride in the past 8 or so years has worn strapless, and I'll be damned if there are more than 10 non-strapless gowns in bridal magazines.

CC, why do you hate preachers so much that you want to deprive them of all that serious boobage?

Who says you can't have boobage with straps?
Watch enough wedding dress shows and you'll realize you can get more cleavage with straps than you ever can without.

Re: Caribou Barbie is at it again
Joe Miller is the teabagger who beat incumbent U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski in the Republican primary by telling Alaskans that they're a bunch of welfare-addled candyasses who need to pick themselves up by their bootstraps, get off the federal government gravy train and exercise some goddamn personal responsibility. Never mind that as a state Alaska would basically dry up and blow away but for all the gubmint money. Miller's essentially saying, "Pull the plug. If it dies, it dies."
The Palins, of course, take full credit for Miller's primary victory, and Todd is enfuckingraged (pdf, 1 page) that Miller wouldn't say publicly that Sarah is qualified to be the president. It's tough to say what's funnier -- Todd's less than comprehensive familiarity with the written word or the fact that his email address starts with (or used to start with, until this not-so-redacted email came to light yesterday) toad1982.
Today Miller atoned by saying that Sarah is indeed qualified to be president. Sort of. She's "qualified" in the Article II sense because she's a natural born citizen at least 35 years old who's been a U.S. resident for at least 14 years. No word yet on whether SuperJoe thinks Sarah's qualified intellectually, character-wise, etc.
It's a tiny bit comforting to see that at least some teabaggers HAVE a straight face test.
