The semester is over, it would seem, and someone finds himself with a lot of free time on his hands.

I knew there was a good video on how the earth really moves. Long as it also includes talk about calendar changes.

Notice how simple questions that should be easily answered are left, and nothing but animations are shown as evidence.

You guys literally believe cartoons over actual repeatable, observable science.

The actual repeatable, observable science tells us that the Earth is round and that the solar system is moving through space around and with the Milky Way Galaxy. Someday you will find the actual science rather than the crackpots who try to make outrageous claims without any proof, that contradict established science.

How Earth Moves - YouTube
Once in motion an object tends to stay in motion till an opposing force acts on it, and so far there has been no opposing force to act on the solar system. The initial motion was induced by the Galaxy itself and there has been no countering force to completely change or stop the original motion.

As far as the Moon is concerned, it would seem to me that the farther away it got the less gravity would pull on it, so it would tend to move away more quickly. Conversely the closer it was the slower it would move away, so using the present speed of recession would give an incorrect distance for earlier times. The Moon obviously moved away more slowly in earlier times.

I didn't know that a college or university was referred to as a corporation.

I feel like the flat earth discussion should be split into a separate thread, because Jerome's idiocy isn't THAT entertaining.

Nope, scientism needed and still needs theoretical maths, that is all you have.

All experimental science showed a motionless earth. It was Einstein's maths which allowed for a moving earth.

Right, the maths don't work going backwards in time with the gravitational equation!!

You know the system is nothing more than a math fraud.

The only thing you can do here is claim gravity has changed over time, but then that fucks up all the other maths used to create the universe as is presented in the cartoons.

Maths is a language used to describe the universe. The mistak being made is maths are being used to create a fantasy universe.

Description and creation are not the same.

Einstein's theoretical maths were used to overcome observational science. That is why he is famous.

Why do you think the most famous picture of Einstein is him sticking his tongue out?

You are being mocked, he is teasing you, its all a joke you fell for.

Remember the mythology is he was a lowly patent clerk that flunked out of school, yet came up with the most important 'science' ever.

You should know by the story its fiction.

As is typical with the scientism adherent, personal attacks instead of rational discourse.
