You remember being born? Well, I guess it was only 17 years ago. I remember what happened 17 years ago pretty well. 17 years ago today, I hiked down into Monument Canyon, Utah while on my lunch break.

17 years ago -- somewhat around this time; it was after HS graduation -- 7 of us road-tripped (in a Civic hatchback) from here to Cape Cod to visit a buddy of ours. His mom had a big Olds station wagon with a extra row of seats in the trunk, so 8 of us in that car was less cramped that 7 in the other.
