Default Both Sides Do It! (We need a thrad for "centrist" stupidity)

I suppose I could just put this in the journamalism thrad as well, but this is a topic that desperately needs to be made, so I'm making it.

Anyway, to start us off, Elizabeth Warren is not even remotely comparable to Ted Cruz, no matter how much stupid "centrists" in the media would like her to be. For starters, Warren actually understands how politics work and understands how to get things done in the Senate. For all of Cruz' grandstanding, he's not actually shown himself to be capable of passing important legislation. More importantly, Warren is not a crackpot.

It is probably also worth pointing out that a "financial services lobbyist" is probably not the most objective source, no matter how much the author of the piece quoted by Pierce would like them to be.
