Question VI day?

No not venereal infection day, victory in Iraq day.

No, really...

Victory in Iraq Day, November 22, 2008

So what is going on in Iraq right now? Are we "winning"? :chin:

The explanation is simple:

Quote:
The Battle For Iraq Has Been Won. Will The President-elect Preserve The Victory?
We have to declare victory now, so that the unholy shitstorm to come can be blamed on Obama and the Dems.

No, no -- never mind that you couldn't build a machine stupid enough to believe this. That's the underlying cognitive dynamic here.

Didn't we already have a VI day? I seem to recall something about a banner and a triumphal landing on an aircraft carrier, and a bunch of journalists getting woodies over how manly someone or other looked in a flightsuit.
