It's almost like the MVP is given for football play instead of being a good person. His play has been phenomenal. As a football player that prison time was just great for him

That can't be right. Why would they do a thing like that?

Pharmacists refusing to fill prescriptions for potentially life-saving drugs — Feministe
Quote:
A nurse practitioner at an Idaho Planned Parenthood called a local Walgreen’s pharmacy to fill a prescription for Methergine, a medicine used to prevent or control bleeding of the uterus following childbirth or an abortion. The pharmacists refused to fill the prescription unless the nurse told her whether or not the patient had an abortion.

Re: Two Minutes Hate
I can see someone being a possible killer by proxy but still 'morally' clean asshole but this doesn't make sense. There are only two options, the nurse breaks their oath and acts immorally and illegally by giving an answer or says "I can't say" in which case the drug isn't given. In that case why even bother asking if the answer will always be no, unless she just enjoys tempting others to sin.

There's nothing confidential before God! He already knows, so it's okay to tell the pharmacist since he's like God's best friend anyway.

Re: Two Minutes Hate
so i think, in keeping with the deeply held
and arbitrary determination of the moral use
of drugs, that any old fucker wanting his
stiff penis pill has to produce the potential
fuckee, she (SHE, ok? no HE) being his legal
wife and not a FWB or a pro or underaged
no verification of holy holing then no boinker stiffener
oh!!! this too!!!
is letting someone die thru acts of
concious, deliberate omission of duty
considered superior moral conduct when
compared to an abortion?
is that the train(wreck) of thought here?

Re: Two Minutes Hate
I couldn't disagree more. There's nothing wrong with a man wanting to stick his little man into the waiting vaginal area of any woman he so wishes (and by extension [lol, extension] any man's waiting buttal area, but we'll publicly deny any such desire) while it is demonstrably inethical for a woman to want to have sex but not deal with the natural consequences of her whorish desires that come from the devil's influence over womandom.

This is the lesson of our history: Our economy is not a zero-sum game. Regulations do have costs; often, as a country, we have to make tough decisions about whether those costs are necessary. But what is clear is that we can strike the right balance. We can make our economy stronger and more competitive, while meeting our fundamental responsibilities to one another.

No, that's not Rand Paul pretending to be slightly more sane. That's the wild-eyed hippie socialist freak you liberal moonbats sent to the White House a couple of years back.

Tellingly, though, even the girl just taking off her shirt would be considered titillating even though breasts are not inherently sexual at all. Ask a woman from a pre-westernized culture in say Africa, where there is no taboo against breastfeeding in public. Tell them about the obsessive breast fetishism among so many American men; they'll laugh and say to you: "You mean the men act like babies?!" Only after the patriarchy fetishized the bodies of women and girls did we end up with so many places where a boy can go around shirtless, but a girl who does the same can be arrested, fined and/or imprisoned. And will almost certainly be harassed or even raped. Yet many now say sexism no longer exists and that feminism is unnecessary. Sheesh.
Nudity isn't inherently even sexual, let alone shameful. The real problem is not the female body but the fact that thanks to authoritarian influences too many men tend to think of women as objects and keep their own minds in the gutter. Then, naturally, they blame women for being killjoys when we don't approve of their objectification, harassment, and rape of women and girls.
Sure, the girl was "stupid," in much the same way that Rosa Parks was "stupid" for not staying in the back of the bus. Standing up to injustice or breaking stupid taboos can be dangerous but the injustice and taboos are the real problem.

GA State Rep.: There's No Such Thing as a Rape Victim | Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee
Note that only a small subset of crime victims would be recategorized as 'accusers.'
And here's a p. good lol from the comments:
Quote:
The Sixth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution guarantees an accused person the right to confront his accuser. This includes men accused of rape, whether you like it or not. When a court designates someone a 'victim' before a conviction, the accused person's constitutional right to due process is violated.
|
Yes, exactly. This is a thing that happens. It is a serious problem, and this proposed legislation is the serious solution to that serious problem.

Re: Two Minutes Hate
The bill doesn't go far enough. Do you know what we're letting these people do if we allow them to call themselves victims even after a conviction? We're letting them play the victim, that's what.
Christ. Here I thought ITSOface was Canadian. Turns out he's a legislator in Georgia.

Funny, I thought the GOP were the ones so concerned about protecting Victim's Rights.
