Re: Thread hijacking game
Speaking of old people getting scammed, my grandmother gave Oliver North $15,000 toward his legal expenses. Oliver North's secretary Fawn Hall helped him shred documents that might have implicated President Reagan in the Iran-Contra affair. Ms. Hall was really good-looking, and many would like to have seen more if she had accepted the half million dollar offers from Playboy and Penthouse for a nude pictorial. Fawn Hall married Danny Sugarman, the manager of The Doors. He died of cancer in 2007. Fawn, now 55 years old, lives alone and works in a West Hollywood bookstore.

Well, that's what they'd have you believe.

Believe? Justin Bieber thinks Anne Frank would be a Belieber, what he calls his devotees, mostly barely pubescent teenaged girls. And have you seen his pants? What a buffoon.

Re: Thread hijacking game
I tried to play the buffoon once. It was too difficult. I don't see how anybody has the patience and mouth musculature to play large double-reeded instruments. I played a clarinet as a kid, and I wasn't too bad at it, but it took more practice than I wanted to devote to something that gets filled with green slime that you have to clean out yourself. Ick.

Green slime is what was clogging up all the drains in my house. If fixed that with that thick formula Liquid Plumber stuff. I bet that upset the biosystem that resides in my septic tank.

I loved the Ghostbusters cartoon as a kid. Slimer was my favorite character.

Ghostbusters cartoon? I never watched it. I never watched Ghostbusters 2 either, and now that Harold Ramis is dead, there won't be a Ghostbusters 3. I really liked Harold Ramis with Bill Murray in Stripes. My 10 year old grandson loved Stripes too, and he is not that easily amused.

Re: Thread hijacking game
Bill Murray? I read something recently that was kind of true. It was about how SNL was never really funny, but it was a good excuse to stay up late. I don't know if that is completely true. Sometimes it is/was really srsly funny, but some episodes are pretty blah. I wish I could still find Monty Python on somewhere.

Re: Thread hijacking game
Yeah, Bill fucking Murray, the one who played himself in Zombieland. Mark Zuckerberg played Jesse Eisenberg or something like that in that movie. He also was in the movie about Facebook that had those douchebag twin brothers in it.

Re: Thread hijacking game
I wonder if the Zuckmeister is paying taxes this year? Is anything happening about corporate welfare yet?

Re: Thread hijacking game
I'm not sure about that, but another banker committed suicide the other day. That's about 17 now, far short of the several hundred that should commit seppuku.

Re: Thread hijacking game
speaking of suicides, why can't people jump in front of the subway train mid morning or on a quiet Sunday afternoon? Why do they feel the need to jump at at morning rush delaying us commuters.
