Re: Miscellany
I can confirm with my own ears that pea does indeed receive phone calls from solicitous robots. I did lol at her though because the one I heard was from the NRA.

Re: Miscellany
It's because Mr. Pea is the only person who can save the human and/or robot race in the Great Catastrophe that follows the Singularity Revolution, so robots and/or humans are sending their consciousnesses back along the Time Pulse to try to bring warning/advice/good chili recipes. Unfortunately the only vessels in our time capable of receiving their transmitted consciousnesses are these robo-caller programs. But they keep trying, desperately hoping the message will get through.
Oh, I think I found the premise for my NaNoWriMo attempt this year...

Re: Miscellany
Crap! So that inspired me to actually check if Bing maps had my address right, unlike Google. It is the first time I have used Bing for anything, ever. And damned if they don't, which means I have to stop completely hating on them.
And this is even after I pointed out to Google that their photograph of my house clearly shows the address they claim isn't there.

Agreed, I triple-checked to make sure I hadn't missed the proper smilie.

Re: Miscellany
Lack of sleep tends to make me miss interpret what I see. Often, it's reading words incorrectly such as magazine covers or ads. My favorite so far today is 'kiss the moist germs.'

Re: Miscellany
Guys. I pray that you can find it in your hearts to forgive me. You already know that I spent most of a week to attend my sister's wedding. And you have photographic evidence that my dog nieces are real. But what I didn't share with you was the pig I saw while I was away.
As pigs go, he's no Esther, but he's still kinda adorable in his own way. Here's Jynxie:
The story goes: He's just the residential pet pig at the house where some fambly stayed. That's all I know. I petted him briefly. He's got a tough hide and those hairs are super bristly. He pig-grunted at me which was p cool.

I spent the day at a funeral - and the wake lasted 7 hours.
Almost as long as it took me to get out of my fucking dress by myself.

Re: Miscellany
I don't think that's accurate. The English weren't depicted as crying babies.
