I've had this track on repeat for like half an hour. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get tired of listening to it anytime soon.

This forum requires that you wait 10 seconds between posts. Please try again in 9 seconds...what? didn't make a post 9 seconds ago.
Anyway, saw QOTSA last weekend @ HoB Boston. Played their entire first album straight through, then some new stuff. Outstanding performance, as usual.
Coudln't find any decent videos soundwise from the current tour to post, so here's a good one from way back when Mark Lanegan, Dave Grohl and Nick Olivieri was still in 'em.

New They Might Be Giants album coming soon. They released the first track online, Can't Keep Johnny Down here. I like it. Reminds me a bit of the Apollo 18 album.

I freely admit to having seen that in London in the 90s. Ever since I will occasionally get Light At The End of the Tunnel stuck in my head for days.

They also had a very good Pipe Organ, do you have any idea how much it costs just to remove and store a Pipe Organ? I wish I had the money to donate to cover all the cost of getting that instrument. We may have had room in our house for the piano, but the Organ is out of the question.

Pandora made it up to me by dropping this track in my lap this morning by Vivi Bach and Dietmar Schönherr:
And I am in love.

Re: One of those 'Wat'cha Listenin' To?' threads.
And now for something completely different.
So to add to the genres of Rockabilly, psychobilly, hellabilly, etc I present alienzombiebilly. Saw this guy, Country Willie and The Cosmic Debris on Saturday. (Listen to Volunteer Warriors on his myspace.) He has this amazing classic country sound, with rock and roll, and lyrics about zombies, ray guns, and aliens. He sounds like Hank Williams and Willie Nelson's martian love child who has The Cramps.
Also has a trailer for a documentary about their first west coast tour:

Re: One of those 'Wat'cha Listenin' To?' threads.
I just got this in the mail:
It's a double 7" with two punk songs and two old Spanish Civil War songs. But the booklet is really cool with about 50 pages of pictures from the war.
And you would normally pay an arm and a leg for this, but this one was very reasonably priced.

A blast from the past... Dream On by Aerosmith. I heard it on the radio on the way to work this morning.
