Re: Countdown from one million thread
987,568 I always thought that was the weirdest little couplet. Is it supposed to inspire comfort or devotion or something? Oh, thank god, no more water! Fire, now, fire we can deal with!
Legs, are you updated your boat with the current weather on a daily basis?
show spoiler
OK, ok, it's not a boat...
show spoiler
It's a schooner!

Good morning you all. I had such bizarre dreams last night I was so thrilled to be waking up back into the reality. Have you noticed that the older you get, you begin to get sick of the whole sleeping thing. It's such an irritating interlude in my life sometimes. When you think about it, sleeping is a rather disturbing thing; a conscious rational person turns into an unconscous drooling zombie laying within the temple dedicated solely to sleeping.

cap, you make being an unconscious, drooling zombie sound like a bad thing.
I have very strange dreams all the time, but I've come to be really fascinated by them. It's so wild how a brain works, all those billions of little synapses and neurons working together to solve problems.

987,565 I like sleep when I'm dog tired, but the rest of the time I kind of resent it.

987,564 The Li'l Puppet woke up scared early this morning, so we let her sleep with us. Suddenly, at about 10 to 6, she burst out crying, "I want my Cinderella telephone! I want my Cinderella telephone!" This isn't the first time she's dreamed up a non-existent toy. There's got to be a way to turn a buck on these nocturnal inventions.

Wow, small world. I did the same thing this morning. Except I wasn't so much "sleeping" as I was "at work in a crowded office."
