Julie, fwiw, I think it is possible that you aren't scum, however your reasons for the initial vote are indeed bad for the town. I think everyone here knows that I champion the position that day one lynches don't have to be random. The first few votes are but the eventual lynch damn sure doesn't have to be.

As for the record: my holiday just begun... and I have polar bears to feed and polar beer to drink, so I won't be posting every day, but try to check this game out every other day or so. I'll try to post less crap and more analysis in my posts. At least after this post

I think bey is blurring the distinction between day1 voting and day1 lynching. The only person close to being lynched here is Julie, on the grounds that she offered a random reason for a day1 vote. I agree with bey that the eventual lynch doesn't have to be random. I reckon that a lynch of Julie for the reason he's given would be just that.

What are you talking about? No one voted for Julie for offering a random reason for a vote. Read the thread again.

With the posts and reasoning Julie has given, I think there is about a 40-50% chance that she is scum.

The way you are misrepresenting what people have said in order to defend her makes me suspicious of you. It could mean you are scum defending scum or it could mean you are scum defending town, so my FOS of you doesn't change my evaluation of Julie. Of course it could just mean you're not paying attention.

I thought people were voting for Julie because she implied she was voting for bey because he was a good player. After reading through again, she never technically said that was her reason, but she sort of implied it. Of course she also pretty much said it was just a random vote as well, in a later post.

I do think it's scummy or crazy to try and lynch people you think are good players (and have no other info on), but I don't think it's that bad to put a vote on them. Everyone should be getting some pressure during the day.
