Vote: The Tick
Because I pulled one of the bloodsuckers off of me this morning who had been hitching a ride since my return from our overnight hike/camping trip.
All ticks are blood suckers and thus scum imo.

Camped at night, hiked during the daylight hours. We didn't return until late yesterday afternoon...and although recharged, refreshed, and had an awesome time with my two boys...dude, I just turned 42 last Wednesday, plus I'm at work again today...
and for the record, I've NEVER been okay.....
Just ask my estranged wife that question....LOLOLOLOLOL

OK, this is becoming ever so slightly silly! I order you to stop the silliness this instant!
Smilin, since you've been carrying a tick around, I would watch out for fever etc. Of course, you already knew this.

Yes, I'm outside U.S. Now I see, you had Memorial Day, right? (Snif, I was at work yesterday and we have no 3-day-weekend here...)

I don't think so, no. We don't even know what roles there are for sure. I would guess that with 14 people, we would have 4 scum. Or maybe 3 scum and a traitor?

Re: On The Waterfront - Game Thread
4 scum would be a bit much for 14 players. I suggest 3 with perhaps a traitor or serial killer.

Also notice it says "and possibly others". 3 scums seems quite right, and then perhaps traitor/no-traitor depending on all roles...?

Takes 8 to lynch... hmm, why "4 on Nightson" is "too many"?

Off-topic: I was like whadda heck are you talking about since "The Tick" is a superhero name I found from the net... Bear in mind that English isn't my native language, so I went to google images and looked "tick". Just to find out it's the only one creature in the world that I'd wish to be extinct. Uh... and now I just learned a new English word...

Without knowing how many scum are out there, I don't want to see anyone pushed too close to a lynching until we've had a chance to do the normal Day 1 round of accuse and deny. Like I said in my first post, multiple bandwagons on Day 1 are a good thing, so I tend to jump off of any bandwagon that looks liek it's heating up too fast.

Re: On The Waterfront - Game Thread
well to be fair, adam is acting unusual and it would not be surprising for scum to go with a throwaway vote on day one
and it would espically not be surprising for adam to do it, then when votes started to pile on he backed off
so with that in mind
unvote, vote adam
you get your wish competing bandwagons.
fwiw, smilin still seems suspicious to me

Re: On The Waterfront - Game Thread
This round of mafia is a little different from what I've played before, looks like we only have an absolute minimum of information to work with.
bey, is adam really suspicious looking to you or are you just throwing stuff into the mix? I dunno, adam seems to be acting like himself but then he's always been unusual.

Re: On The Waterfront - Game Thread
capp, adam's actions are kind of mobby
the whole, innocent vote thing is a tried and true method of mafia in early voting
the shift off the bandwagon that he started so early
way before the votes needed struck me as scummy

Re: On The Waterfront - Game Thread
This is how Day One works:
The purpose of Day One is twofold, to gather information and to lynch scum.
You gain information through the application of pressure. You put votes on a person, said person feels like they might get lynched, you evaluate their defense in terms of scuminess. If they behave like town then you back off and try and put the pressure on someone else. You try and lynch scum by accumulating enough data that you can make an educated guess at who is scum.

Re: On The Waterfront - Game Thread
