So, roughly 1/2 the judgement - I wonder if this implies Judge Engoron thinks it's a reasonable chance the fine will be reduced on appeal. Maybe it's just that he wants to make sure that Trump gets his appeal (if he can come up with $175 million) to make sure that the ruling stays unimpeachable.

to be clear, the bond is not necessary for an appeal, it's necessary to stay judgment pending the appeal.

Trump's $59.99 bible turns out to be a $49.99 20th anniversary commemorative 9/11 bible that originally sold poorly, with $10 of the sale going to Trump. Additionally it uses the nice oldie King James Translation because the NIV translation is still under copyright and the owner refused to allow the "God Bless USA Bible" to use it.

It's hilarious how consistently it's a grift, always a grift, never anything but grifting.
