I wish I could contribute more of my list of past daily drivers but none got any more exciting than a Camry.

Oh I do. I'm a huge fan of the European supercars, their crazy styling is (usually) so out of this world fun. Current love is the McLaren P1. There's a few of them around town, it;s always a treat to see them.

Sweet car. You gotta love the latest incarnation of the latest Ford GT-40 then.

I had a high school buddy who owned a 1940 Dodge Brothers pickup. I loved that truck.

It had a lot more primer than this baby:

Skinnier tires, too.

Shoutout to my father's 1972 Ford Pinto Runabout. He bought it fresh off the lot in 1971 and for the next 30 years only used it for 4 weeks during the summers. The rest of the year it slumbered in my grandmother's garage, protected from the vicious Connecticut winters. It's the car I learned to drive on, which is why power steering and power brakes have never lost their enchantment for me.

It still looks brand new, that forest green metallic paint glittering in the sun. He paid two grand for it new. A month ago a random guy in the grocery store parking lot offered him five grand cash for it.

Oh, and as for that little blowing up problem, my dad got rear-ended in it by a Coke truck back in the early 70s and miraculously did not explode. After that close call, he had some sort of protective shield installed between the gas tank and the car's butt. Many years later, I was rear-ended in it twice within three days of getting my license, once by a pickup, the other by a schoolbus.

I don't have a pic of it but it looks just like this one on the outside, except my dad's hubcaps are original. The engine is too, for better of worse. (Very much worse when going up steep hills or attempting to go faster than 55 mph in any road conditions.)

I do, and the 2015 Stingray as well. Corvette have gone slightly more towards their roots with this year's model, but it does have the lines that would look at home on and Aston Martin.

Well, it's awful clean. And, there's no winch on the front bumper.

It does have air conditioning. The windshield cranks up.

And now for my dream car: the Bugatti Royale Coupé Napoleon (1929). This was the first of only seven Royales produced (one of which was later totalled in a wreck so only six survive) and it was Ettore Bugatti's personal car. If there has ever been a more glorious hood-to-cab ratio, I don't know of it.

Also spectacular is the rampant elephant radiator cap, which has a very sad and sweet background. It's a replica of a sculpture by Ettore's brother Rembrandt Bugatti, an incredibly gifted sculptor who specialized in animal subjects drawn from life. Rembrandt died by his own hand in 1916 when he was just 31 years old. A decade later, Ettore immortalized his brother's magical elephant sculpture by making it a focal point of his automotive masterpiece. Today Rembrandt's sculptures sell for many millions of dollars each, just like his big brother's cars do.

1. Trailers and motorcycles are not cars.

2. Where do you store the outboard motor for the boat?

To be fair, neither are tractors, but those passed unnoted.

Outboard? I suspect it was inboard and stored behind the steering wheel.

I am pretty sure that the page YooperGuy linked to mentioned an outboard motor. Not to mention that there was no prop in evidence in the picture.

As for tractors, I live in Iowa, tractors are cars here.

This was our family car from about 1961 to 1969 when my sister wrecked it two years before I was old enough to get my drivers' license. :(

This is the ride it replaced. Ours was a powder blue, as near as I can recollect.
