Default A whole entire thread about one stupid question about batteries.

So I want a backup battery for a phone, but I cannot reasonably find one with the exact model number of the battery in there. The model number is BL-52UHA. I can find others that are models BL-52UH and also BH-52UHB, though, which makes me suspect that the BL-52UH is the one I'm looking for, but I'm not 100% sure.

But they're like $5, so I'm willing to take a chance on that $5, which leads me to my actual question:

As long as the capacity and the voltage are the same, are there any risks to just getting one and seeing if it fits? I mean, is there something I'm missing that might go wrong, like explode or damage the phone some other way?
