Station.

That is the best and most serious suggestion so far, Crumb, hands down.

I still love Harry Winston as it is a Diamondback.

What about Philbert? It is the name of a paintbrush and I have always thought it would make a good name, especially for a turtle.

Or Shelby after the Mustang?

Since you don't know its gender, are you looking for gender neutral names?

Though I don't know why you are naming it, since it won't come when you call it, and its not like you have a group of turtles from which this particular turtle needs to be delineated. But sorry, you weren't asking whether you should name it, but what it should be named.

Kelly- gender neutral and a descriptor for the color green
Pat- gender neutral and a reference to SNL
Future Comb- mean suggestion that you will harvest its tortoise shell for utilitarian purposes
Salad Bowl- natch, plus it eats a lot of salad
GUI-Basic- I don't know why
Phazer Digglesworth- combines action name with twitty british or stuffy businessperson surname, as if your turtle was A.) a turtle of action and B.) came from some sort of pedigree or held itself in high regard
Legolas Orlando- because everything you see reminds you of Mr. Bloom in his defining LOTR role
Red Power Ranger- because you can't stop thinking about the Red Power Ranger. Or maybe that is more a personal issue for me. Crumb, I think I might be projecting a little.*
Mukasey- after former Atty General. I don't know why but the name has a nice roll
Yrtl- classic and probably over-used, the Rover of turtle names
Finger Snap- descriptive cautionary name to encourage guests and acquaintances to respect Finger Snap's biting power and need for personal space
Surly Todd- I guess it works if the turtle is actually surly, the Todd part because it makes the two words together sound like you are saying something French. Sur Le Tod. I don't know why I find that appealing. Also makes him a boy turtle
Bustamante- famous Jamaican politician. I don't have a good argument for this one either.
Lumpy- well it is
Penelope- if you decide to gender your turtle, and if your turtle is sweet

*Qingdai, I'm sorry all of our pets and our son are named Red Power Ranger.

Granger. It works for both genders -- see Hermione and Stewart -- and it sounds kind of outdoorsy on account of there's a ranger in it.

Technically, that's not really his part of his name. 'De' basically means 'of' and 'y' is 'and.' He's Francesco Antonio José of Lorenzana and Buitrón. Just sayin.

You could also go with Botticelli or Caravaggio.

Of course, these would be more appropriate if you had a painted turtle :duck:
