I just wasted half an hour on that quiz. I'm up to 65. The ones that have no apparent logic and are just memorization are frustrating. Or maybe they have some crazy logic I don't get. Why does shoe polish kill a werewolf?
Also, I wasted a couple minutes figuring out the text on the wingdings question and I still had to guess. Bah!

The website is called "www.addictinggames.com". How can someone be so god-damn illiterate that they have bad grammar in their domain name? I just can't bring myself to use the site. Stupid, I know, but its a pet hate.

Anyway, I'm stuck on the "CHARGE UR LASER" one. I never figured out the place names one (I'd swear I've tried every option and nothing works), but I just skip that one each time.

"Addictive" is an adjective. "Addicting" enjoys a dubious status as a transitive verb according to some dictionaries, not an adjective. So "Farren is addicting Sock to coke" would be correct, but not "This game is addicting". And who says things like "Farren is addicting sock to coke"? No-one, that's who. The only time people use the word is mistakenly as a replacement for "addictive".
So "addicting games" isn't just clumsy, its just plain wrong! Wrong I tell you! An any event, ignore this crusty old grammarian. Just venting about a pet hate. Carry on.
Interesting game, this prescriptive grammar. The only way to win is not to play. Besides, it's highly addicting. You might end up obsessing about it, irregardless.

No one else finds Spin the Black Circle maddeningly addicting? Or has no one tried it? I must say it is better than the others I posted in this thread.
Is that the one where you have fall in a curve with spikes all around? I got through by getting on the very tip of the first platform and falling as close to the bulge of spikes as I could, eventually I made the curve.
I can't even find the first question, though I must point out I haven't tried it at home where I'm not hampered by the half-assed implementation of site-blocking measures to assure some dullard in a suit who still jerks off to magazine pictures that I'm not being naughty.
Thanks, Crumb, that did it. That's what I was trying to do,but I couldn't find the right angle for my initial drop, so I wasn't sure if I was even on the right track.
